My trading automation averaged 40-50% a year since 2010 on my backtesting. Tried it live for 3 months and it lost -80%. How do people even make trading automation work?

we are gonna do something nice for everyone who applied for the GPT-5.5 party and that we didn't have space for. hope you enjoy!

I added 8 filters to a mean-reversion strategy. In-sample: 4 rules: 7.18% CAGR 12 rules: 8.62% CAGR Out-of-sample: 4 rules: 11.78% CAGR 12 rules: 4.51% CAGR The cleaner backtest was the worse strategy.

“If you make so much from trading why do you sell a course?” Maybe to make more money dumb ass? Trading takes like 2-5 hours a day max to make money from it Do you expect someone who was motivated enough to grind trading for years to just sit around and do nothing for the rest of the day? Obviously not Basketball players will make $20m+ a year and still do commercials, release their own products, invest in businesses - and no one says anything about that Thinking motivated guys will just accept less for no real reason is dumb

as suspected routing(.)run is wrapper around crofAI and OpenRouter (and more) with massive markups from all providers :) (against Terms of Service) they have a literal cost_multiplier=1.65 constant set on their backend for API pricing, not even mentioning the "request based plans" have a 66% to 100% markup over crofAI why do they have a /v1/settings endpoint with no auth that just returns {"cost_multiplier":1.65}? i have no clue and of course they're also reselling minimax, xiaomi and opencode go coding plans for "maximum profit" and why stop there, they route kimi k2.5 to kimi k2.5 lightning on crofAI (which is a half size pruned variant), deepseek v3.2 speciale routes to regular deepseek v3.2 on crofAI again, and they cost requests for a model that's currently free on openrouter of course, crofAI's ToS and OpenRouter ToS specifically does not allow this "reselling at markup". this is against both their Terms of Service. why grift and make money off other providers this way? this is very scummy is this really what you want to be known for? @inlovewithgo and no, i do not agree with the sentiment of "it was open source, anyone could have checked and found out, we are transparent", this is scummy behaviour top to bottom full gist with a report in the replies
