It’s been a fun football season for our family, one that’s going to continue w/a trip to the Super Bowl! Williamsburg Wildcats: 1st-ever playoff win. Bearcats: Historic season Bengals: Super Bowl bound. Avery prepped for tomorrow’s game by making this cake from scratch!

Each year, I’m inspired by the spirit of our students during the annual student council food drive. The halls were buzzing with extra excitement this morning! Rumor has it that 2nd and 5th grades are in the early lead! #WildcatWay

Ss working & discussing through their first math flips @BerkeleyEverett. The vocabulary that I was hearing was truly amazing. Thank you for these awesome math flips to engage my Ss! They loved it!

@katricequitter Yes, it was the principal leadership course where I first met you as a featured guest speaker. @MollyTeszlewicz had us write down on sticky notes what it was we wanted to learn, and then she built the entire curriculum around finding answers to our questions. It was PHENOMENAL!

Have you ever taken a class and the teacher let you create the syllabus?

This was a big hit today in homeroom. Ss were getting to know each other by creating two truths and a lie about theirself. They were having a blast with it! @1burgschools

Ss are off to a great start in 3rd grade math at WES! How to play math games, follow small group routines, and showing evidence! Day 4 and WES Ss are rocking it! #WESisputofthisworld @1burgschools

Before leaving for break, Ss were given a challenge. They had to build a Turkey trap to catch their Thanksgiving dinner. I’m thankful I can do these projects with the Ss face to face! Have a safe and healthy Thanksgiving! @Wildcats_WES

After completing their math test over properties of X, I walk around and start cleaning the tables. One Ss yells, “No Mrs. Nutt, you’re erasing all of our evidence!” This is why I take pictures. They are proud of their work! #proof #proud @Wildcats_WES
