According to Uganda’s Directorate of Citizenship and Immigration Control, Vice Chancellors of universities qualify for a Diplomatic Passport. The eligibility is also provided under Uganda’s Passport Regulations and Immigration guidelines. So YES, Dr @ReachDrMuganga qualifies for a diplomatic passport. Thank you.
Ronald Amanyire@amronaldo

Shouldn’t someone investigate how he got a Ugandan Diplomatic Passport? He is not even a government official.

One of the problem this generation is facing are these 1900s parents who think having many children will retrieve them from poverty. Look at Tenge Tenge’s father, he has no plan with over 8 children plus two wives who expect to run the whole family on revenue collected from the boy’s social media accounts. Of course the accounts bring in some money but not that much, he confirms to have received over 40m plus from the boy’s manager but also confesses to have used it to take care of his families living the boy in space. He can’t create any content with the boy but what authority on the accounts and also to receive 50% on the accounts revenue. Mzeei Kawata at 80 years dances for his future what about you Mzeei kakofila?

@GodwinTOKO @GodwinTOKO, is there anything that @Parliament_Ug can't do? I have been shocked by the kind of duplication in those ministries, if you check well you find untold duplication, just to create positions for in-laws, friends and relatives. It really hurts as a tax payers!!

Let’s talk about item number 5. Under the 1995 Constitution, Uganda was supposed to have NOT more than 21 Cabinet Ministers. However, Article 113 ends with “…except with the approval of parliament.” In 1996, that approval was sought by the executive & received. Effectively, one can argue that that was the first amdnement to the 1995 Constitution - a sort of harbinger for what was to come each time the constitution stood in the way of the executive. So, until now, we had 29 Cabinet Ministers, and about 82 ministers - including State Ministers. Looks like the number is set to go higher in the coming days. We have a government run by constitutional amendments; not adherence to the Constitution per se…

Just imagine if we had 1 million content creators across different digital platforms, each earning just $500 per month as creator revenue share That would translate into $500 million every month and about $6 billion annually flowing into the economy. If we had a government that truly thinks ahead, it would strategically invest in achieving this within the next 2 or 3 years. Such an ecosystem would widen the tax base, create employment opportunities, strengthen the country’s global PR, and significantly boost tourism. The digital economy alone can transform a nation, but only if we have a government that is digitally aligned and forward-thinking.

@CanaryMugume Is there anything that @Parliament_Ug does and shocks us? I was really wondering why have two state ministers of finance ,and economic planning? How? For what? It shows that govt priorities positions for it's people at expense of the citizens.
