The later argument is why people are exiting fiat currency and entering digital currency. The number of people who have done this makes the adoption of digital currency marks it as a legitimate path.

A 100$ bill USD is only worth 100$ if I or someone else is willing to give you 100 1$ bills, or 100$ worth of goods or services. If I'm willing to take y amount of BTC for x amount of USD then that becomes its value.

@GmailElad @mskvsk assume you're going to gamble with it. The rest is as the others said. There's a limited amount of BTC. Buying some and hiding it in cold storage away is a viable way of reducing supply, increasing the demand, and thus raising its price long term.

I don't know if I'm more disturbed by the offer or the number of people who would acquiesce to such an offer. Dear @MrBeast, be better than this, generosity shouldn't be conditional on someone giving up their morality for something like money. Make it funny, but be human man.
