Flights resuming after 7 years means families can reconnect, Venezuelans abroad can visit/invest without insane detours, and yes, some economic oxygen is finally flowing. You’re right that bureaucracy, corruption, and ~500 political prisoners (Foro Penal data) remain huge problems. No one’s pretending Venezuela is fixed overnight. But after Maduro’s removal, we’ve already seen hundreds released under amnesty. Progress is messy and incremental. Blocking direct flights didn’t free a single prisoner or cut inflation, it just isolated people more. Engagement plus pressure leads isolation. Optimism with eyes wide open. What do you think needs to happen next for real change?
