Tuesday night - You may have heard of the #413 but have you heard of the Bradford Bypass, another highway the province wants to build through the Greenbelt? Join Laura Bowman of Ecojustice and Claire Malcolmson of Rescue Lake Simcoe Coalition, to learn more.

@GretaThunberg Canada is a climate laggard. Provincial elections have upended climate plans. Premiers Kenney (AB), Ford (ON), Moe (SK), Legault (QC), Pallister (MB) & Higgs (NB) fighting constitutionality of evidence-based climate plans negotiated in 2016. The people voted for them.

Headline correction - Ford Cancelled paid sick days in 2019, now the site of Toronto’s largest workplace outbreak does not provide workers with paid sick days.
Toronto Star@TorontoStar

The site of Toronto’s largest workplace outbreak does not provide workers with paid sick days — a protection the city’s medical officer has called “critical” to slow the spread of COVID-19. thestar.com/news/gta/2021/…

This is cool. A conservative MP standing up to provincial conservatives to oppose a highway that his residents don't want. Is Halton an alternative universe where politicians agree across party lines sometimes?
Jane Fogal🇨🇦🇺🇦@JanieFF

Wellington Halton Hills MP Michael Chong firmly opposes the GTA West/413 Highway and for good reasons as outlined in his letter to Transportation Minister Mulroney. @MichaelChongMP @RickBonnette1
