@HardwareUnboxed I know you hate (for good reason) doing benchmarks with a test bench that isn't high end but if you're out of content ideas, a video benchmarking current gen GPUs with the 5800X3D would be cool. See how it does with 16gb of RAM as well.

Explaining the VRAM contradiction, why 4GB of VRAM was once okay and now 8GB of VRAM isn’t okay. • The RX 480 was released in 2016 with 4 and 8GB options. • 4GB’s of VRAM had only been available for 3 years at the time, so it was still new, previously 8GB options were only offered by flagship models. • Games at the time didn’t require more than 4GB’s of VRAM and it wasn’t until many years later, some time after 2020, that games started to require 8GB GPUs. The attitude shift came when it was clear we had been stuck with mainstream 8GB GPUs for far too long, especially the more expensive $400-$500 options. • 4GB GPUs had been around for 3 years when the RX 480 arrived for $200 US. • 8GB GPUs had been around for 12 years when the RTX 5060 Ti arrived for $380 US.
