@Rahll @TheDutchRuler Regardless, the more often that people post screencaps of scenes on places like Reddit, or X.com, or other boards where data is being aggregated, the more reinforced an image is in the dataset. That's not plagiarism, that's just pattern-recognition.

Solo artists are much more threatened by AI because they are needed by artists that work in collaborative mediums like film and animation. Generative AI allows the latter to exercise their craft without the massive budget required to pay the former.

They would have to step away completely from being a publisher and dictate that all moderation actions would need to go through the legal system instead.

Once again, repealing Section 230 erases the internet overnight. It's the one law that allowed social media to exist, written in 1996. A law gutting or even somewhat gutting Section 230 is probably the biggest threat to the internet that has ever existed

@Minof2005 @Kougeru @xio999bsky I'd argue you would need to actively get political YouTubers like Vaush, Xanderhal, Hasan Piker etc. involved as their audiences are more likely to mobilize compared to gaming channels since this is inherently a political issue of financial censorship of the arts.

@mgosketches I already was. Finding work is harder, but I actually use AI regardless of the fact that my jobs went out the window. Why? Because I know it's a tool, and it's a very useful one for data organization and categorizing large text arrays.
