My husband was the safe choice when I married him. Calm, reliable, predictable. After years of unstable relationships, he felt like peace. We built nine years of marriage together, had a daughter, bought a house, and created a life that looked stable from every angle. Then things started changing. Nothing dramatic. He became protective of his phone. Started taking longer evening walks. Smiled at messages he quickly turned away from me. I told myself not to overthink it. Until one morning, he left his tablet unlocked on the dining table. A notification appeared from a woman I didn’t know. "You said you miss who you were before marriage." My heart dropped.

A friend of mine went through this. The dude is an awesome dad. Early 40’s. Tall, handsome guy. Made good money. Graduated a top college. He restored an old house himself. Always was talking up his wife. Kids lacrosse coach. Kept in shape just incase he needed to defend his family. No major vices. She wants out. He insists on counseling. Counselor says he’s right. She flips out says he picked a biased counselor. So she asks all her girlfriends for a wife friendly female counselor who will “understand me”. They go. The counselor apparently lost her mind. Starts yelling at the wife. “Listen to him. I’m happily married and I’m jealous of you. All he keeps saying is how much he loves you. How he prays every night for your happiness. And he is HOT!” The whole thing boiled down to he refused to go to woke wine tastings, art shows, wedding receptions for people they barely know and baby showers with her. Girl stuff. And he claims he didn’t even refuse, he just said they had to take separate cars so he could jet after 30 minutes. That was his only request in life. Bonkers. Bonkers!

Divorced her husband, two years later crying about the decision. I have no sympathy for people that play the victim in the chaos they create. Do you?

@DurojaiyeSegun None of these people had EFCC operatives waiting to ambush them at the primaries prior to their first election. Fubara isn't just afraid for his political career, they have dirt on him; enough to finish him.

Obaseki, as a sitting governor under the same APC dared Oshiomhole, who was the party’s state leader, defected to the PDP, and still won his re-election. Ganduje, as a sitting governor, also dared Kwankwaso, the man who brought him into political limelight. Likewise, the current Governor of Kano State, Abba Yusuf, who was once a mere civil servant at the Water Corporation and was politically elevated by Kwankwaso from ground zero, is now standing independently of him. Amaechi, as a sitting governor under the PDP, dared Peter Odili and still secured his re-election in Rivers State. The same Wike once served as Chief of Staff to Amaechi in 2007. Amaechi later recommended him to Goodluck Jonathan for a ministerial role, after which Patience Jonathan took interest in him and supported his emergence as Governor of Rivers State, even dared Amaechi, and still won his reelection. Infact, the political circle of Rivers State is known for daring their precursors. As the chief security officer of your state you can just easily use all your state apparatus to dare Wike, declare him a threat to the peace of your state, declare him personal non-grata, take away all his property, demolish them, and nothing will happen. Political history remembers the leaders who stood their ground, not the ones who stayed in the shadows. I am formally tagging you to this again as a sign of reiteration, @SimFubaraKSC dare Wike NOW!!!
SEUN Durojaiye 🇳🇬@DurojaiyeSegun

If Fubara can't dare Wike, use the whole state force as a sitting Governor to bully him out of the state then he will ever be the greatest weak man of all time. Fayose as a sitting Governor dared President Obasanjo and later came back as Ekiti State Governor. Tinubu as a sitting Governor dared Presy Obasanjo and remain Lagos State Governor. If you cannot challenge a “small” Wike, who only came into political prominence yesterday, then you are a weakling.

I’ve spent the past couple of weeks building Looters: a public archive of Nigerian political corruption since the 1990s. Governors, ministers, shell companies, Swiss accounts, the Jersey trusts, — one searchable graph. You too can connect the dots: 1000reasons.vote/looters

Nigerian Professor Bags 70-Month Jail Term In U.S. Over $1.4m Donor Fund Theft A United States district court in Michigan has sentenced Nkechy Ezeh, former executive director of Early Learning Neighbourhood Collaborative (ELNC), to 70 months in federal prison for orchestrating a $1.4 million fra¥d scheme involving funds meant for vulnerable preschool children. The court found that Ezeh abused her position at the nonprofit, which was funded by U.S. government agencies and private donors to support children in underserved communities through services such as meals, transportation, and educational assistance. Judge Hala Jarbou described her conduct as a “fraud and a thief,” saying she carried out a “brazen and widespread” scheme that diverted money intended for “the most vulnerable children” in West Michigan. According to court records and a statement from U.S. authorities, Ezeh pleaded guilty in December 2025 to wire fraud, conspiracy, and tax evasion. She admitted that between 2017 and 2023, she worked with others, including co-conspirator Sharon Killebrew, to steal about $1.4 million from ELNC. The court also ordered her to pay $1.4 million in restitution and an additional $390,174 to the Internal Revenue Service for tax evasion. She received a concurrent 60-month sentence for the tax offence. Authorities said ELNC shut down in 2023 as a result of the fraud, leading to the loss of funding for several preschools in West Michigan and the layoff of 35 employees without notice. U.S. Attorney Timothy VerHey condemned the actions, stating that donor and taxpayer funds meant for low-income children were instead spent on personal gain, adding that the sentence reflected the seriousness of the offence. Co-conspirator Sharon Killebrew was earlier sentenced to 54 months in prison for her role in the scheme.

@instablog9ja This night as you contemplate the debt you are owing OCASH and the likes, first divide $11.6 billion by 180 million (worse case) or 200 million (best case). Humbling, isn't it?, knowing every Nigerian owes a debt we may not be able to pay in two lifetimes over.
