There are a surprising number of people in politics and media who don't understand that nuclear launch authority rests solely with POTUS. Trump doesn't need clearance from Congress or the courts. Even preemptively. All that stands between him and nuclear war are military commanders refusing to follow his orders.

I will admit it. I LOVED Trump unhinged when he was on the campaign trail. He was outspoken, politically incorrect and fearless in his brutality. And I loved it. In the wake of so much political correctness, it was refreshing to see a man who didn't care what people thought. He was a breath of fresh air. He wasn't a politician and that's what I loved about him. The problem is, our chickens have come home to roots. We said, "let Trump be Trump." Now here we are. On the brink of nuclear war. Pray for America. We did this to ourselves. And to the world.

At this point it seems likely: * Trump sent messaging points to Pakistan as Iran was not engaging * Trump declares he’s so kind and will delay again because Pakistan asked nicely * Trump will say Strait open * It won’t open * Markets pop green, until end of week, and we do the dance again 😮‍💨🫩

Pretty clear already that the only plausible explanation for Hegseth recently firing those senior generals is that they patriotically refused to play along with this absurd and dangerous nonsense.

If we survive Trump, Dems will run up huge numbers in 2026 & 2028, like 2006 & '08. But if the next President doesn't govern like FDR, broad reforms, corruption prosecutions, landmark legislation, we end up right back here. Winning isn't enough. Dems have to change things.

He will then say we're extending the deadline by 2 weeks Iran will then issue a statement claiming they have agreed to nothing It has become quite obvious that there will be no resolution in 2 weeks or even two months Fuel prices will continue to rise fueling inflation

I feel a deep sadness. So many of us worked very hard to get Trump back in office. We believed he would put America First and no new wars would be started. What we have seen this term is the opposite of what we voted for, understand it is not MAGA that has changed, it is Trump. Trump was a vessel to achieve the goal, he has failed the mission and it is time he leave the office.
