In a surprise to literally no one Michael Tracey comes out in favor of Thomas Massie losing today and if it takes 50 million dollars spent by just 3 Israel-First billionaires to make that happen then so be it.

If Pizza Hut can return, then we can resurrect Blockbuster. And we should. While Netflix made things more “convenient” we lost something irreplaceable: The ritual of going to a place with your family or friends to choose a story together. That experience was special.

If they were gonna do the whole “Frank doesn’t want to be The Punisher” story for the umpteenth time, having the reason be that Frank unintentionally inspired a bunch of shitty cops to use his logo would’ve been way more effective.
But given that Jon Bernthal is very publicly pro-police, I guess they didn’t wanna go that route.

Kripke’s right. The twist is dramatically inert because it takes Homelander’s crimes and disperses them among 2 people instead of 1. It’s not like Homelander is revealed to be good — he ALSO did bad stuff because Noir made him think he was evil. All it does is dilute the villain

A big sin of the Clone Wars show was how serialized the encounters were. For example: How many times did Obi Wan & Anakin beef with key characters like Dooku & Grievous between Episodes 2 + 3. Felt like it diluted their menace heavily, whereas the Clone Wars Micro Series added menace.

The opening scenes of Revenge of the Sith make it clear that Anakin and Obi-Wan haven't faced Count Dooku since AOTC. Therefore none of the Filoni Clone Wars happened. The 2003 microseries is the true bridge between AOTC and ROTS, and is much cooler as well.

This post obviously made a lot of Andor fans very upset. They may have just not understood it. Allow me to explain.
What I was trying to say is that Andor is dumb and not at all the type of fairy tale story that Star Wars was meant to emulate.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but Andor's grim portrayal of homicidal rebels was dumb. Screw Luthen, Saw Gerrera, and Andor himself. Star Wars is a fairy tale. The good guys are good. Han in ANH and Lando in ESB is as gray as they get (which is to say, not very.) To say that the ends justify the means misses the entire point of Anakin's fall.

There's nothing easier -- or more meaningless -- for an American journalist than condemning the policies of the US's official enemies (ooh, China has lots of cameras, Russia cracks down on dissent, etc. etc). It changes nothing. Far more meaningful is denouncing your abuses by your own government and the countries it props up.
