@TaktikLeader @zukunft37 Im Post wird von einem anlagehorizont von 40 Jahren, bei der Anleihe von 20 Jahren geredet. Kein Zeitraum bei dem man sich vor den Märkten verstecken und für minimal über der Inflation in anleihen investieren muss.

Etwas Mathematik dazu:
Wenn man jeden Monat 200€ bei einem Zinssatz von (realistischen) 0,5% weglegt, hat man nach 40 Jahren 106.325€ angespart.
Wenn man davon im Alter noch rund 18 Jahre leben muss, wären das also 492€ die man im Monat zur Verfügung hätte.
Durch die Inflation (hier mit niedrigen 2% gerechnet) wären diese 492€ nur noch etwa 45% dessen wert, was sie heute wert sind.
Das heißt:
Es bleibt (nach heutigen Maßstäben) eine Kaufkraft von 221€ zum Leben übrig.
Jeder kann sich leicht ausrechnen, dass man mindestens das 10-fache braucht, was wiederum bedeutet, dass man 40 Jahre lang jeden Monat 2.000€ (!) Euro ansparen müsste.
Daher kann es kein anderes funktionierendes Verfahren als das solidarische Umlageverfahren als Generationenvertrag geben.
Auch jüngere Leute sollten sich klarmachen:

Lieber jetzt höhere Beiträge in die Rentenversicherung einzahlen und dafür im Alter abgesichert sein.
Ansonsten droht JEDEM Altersarmut!

@cd_g123 @zukunft37 ich bin voll in etfs weil ich das risiko tragen kann (mir ist egal wo der markt in 10 jahren ist, ich bin erst 22 und kann warten), wenn du aber rentner bist ist dir das risiko nach unten wichtiger als die rendite nach oben
anleihen sind da ein ziemlich perfektes tool

In a free market, I can’t sell bread at 100× the normal price. Competitors will undercut me, and even if I buy them out, new ones will keep entering. That cycle never ends. Predatory pricing fails because the moment I raise prices, customers leave. Cartels fail because members cheat and new entrants break in. The only reliable way to maintain a monopoly is through the state. By trading favors with politicians, I can use government power to block competitors under the guise of regulation, public safety, or national interest. In reality, those rules exist to protect cronies like me. This can only happen publicly when the government passes regulations, because regulations are the public face of cronyism. Thus contrary to what dumb socialists think, solution is to protest and ask removal of regulations not billionaires and capitalism itself.

@flobries @Elesoterik @Alonso_GD i had to recheck btw, netflix has been profitable for 20+ years, they only lost money in the first 3 years of business. paramount has been a loss leader for ever(hasnt ever been profitable until now), disney+ und hulu managed to turn profitable just 2 years ago

@flobries @Elesoterik @Alonso_GD I agree with you lol, those companies will also go bankrupt once investments stop but this has less to do with competition and more with investors willing to supply cash to a losing company in hopes that it becomes the next biggest thing (like netflix)

@flobries @Elesoterik @Alonso_GD those prices were always only temporary to anyone with a brain, because no business will ever continue to just lose money for no reason. they might lose money to increase customers(oss leader), but once the extra subscrition stop, they will increase prices to match profitability
