The irony is thick coming from @MittRomney. The guy preaching about good leaders and a good and noble people is the same one who let his personal hatred of Donald Trump block good policy, stopped representing Utah’s conservative constituents, voted to confirm the most radical Supreme Court Justice in American history (Ketanji Brown Jackson), and let his own ego and DC elite approval cloud any ability to actually be good. Talk is cheap, Mitt.

Mitt Romney to Harvard Business School graduates: "There's more to a country than its economy. To be a great nation, it must also be a good nation. The world needs good men. It needs good women. Good leaders. Good parents raising good children. There is no national success that could compensate for failure to be a good and noble people."
Deseret News@Deseret

“The true measure of wealth in life is the people you love and your friends.” Sen. @MittRomney told Harvard Business School graduates, Wednesday, to prioritize people over careers and focus on success at home. Read more of his advice for the class of 2026 and the guidance he brought from a Latter-day Saint prophet in the thread below. | By @mariyamanzhos

Meet Jena Salem, a physician in DeKalb County GA. A man with over 40 PREVIOUS CHARGES cut her electricity, jumped on her bed, strangled her, slit her throat, st*bbed her in the chest, and then se*ually assaulted her. She SURVIVED, fighting him off until the KNIFE BROKE inside her body. When asked how she survived Jena said: "Even in what you think are insurmountable odds, even if you think you're already de*d, you still fight, because you will never get that chance ever again." WE. DO. NOT. HAVE. TO. LIVE. LIKE. THIS!!!!!!!!!

@VoteTrevorLee I don’t care if it’s one person across 50 states. That one vote cancelled out a citizens vote and that can’t be allowed to happen. We need strict voting laws that are enforced as if the survival of our country depends on it, because it does.

This headline is pathetic, it’s classic media spin that minimizes a real problem by echoing the Lieutenant Governor’s office talking points word for word (small handful). It frames the audit as proof the system is (working great) when the actual details especially on page 3 of the report and the raw findings show the opposite. Preventable illegal voting happened. The review was limited and incomplete, and it actually underscores why election integrity legislation like proof-of-citizenship requirements was and is desperately needed. Pass the Save Act

I will never get past this particular betrayal. Not in a bad way, but in a vital, learned a lot about myself and other people kind of way. This vile cluster B type reaction of the left shaped me in a way that will impact the rest of my life.

How about No. Your type trying to protect their jobs and lifestyles while *Disagreeing Better* is bull 💩. You have no vision. You have no common sense, and you have no idea what you have unleashed in the MAGA movement. We don’t Follow Trump. He follows We The People.

A large number of Leftists want me and anyone like me dead. My friend was murdered in 4k. Millions of them celebrated it. They tried to kill our President so many times I’ve lost count. They want to torture and kill @elonmusk. I don’t behave in a civil manner with people who want me dead. You have no survival instincts if you do, and frankly, I find you to be a dangerous individual if you’re willing to be civil with the monsters who want me dead. You live in a fantasyland @Mike_Pence and I wish I could live there with you but I’m not the right level of delusional unfortunately. I’ve had hazmat teams at my house for bloody mail sent to me. A man was arrested wanting to kill me (it’s not theoretical for me). I’ve had a crazed man show up at my house when I wasn’t there and my neighbors had to rush over armed to the teeth to protect my kids. I’ve received graphic rape and murder threats for my entire family. And you ask for civility? No. It’s a war and I intend for the right to win it. Then we can restore civility.

I believe in this so much. When I had kids, my pathologist father handed me an JAMA article about over anti bacterializing and told me to not bathe my kids unless they were dirty. Best advice I ever got.
Anish Moonka@anishmoonka

Finnish scientists trucked in real forest dirt and grass and laid it over the gravel at four daycare yards. They let the kids dig around in it for a month. The blood tests came back with changes the researchers hadn’t expected to see so fast or so clear. The study ran at ten daycares in two Finnish cities with 75 kids aged three to five. Four of the yards got the forest treatment: about a tennis court worth of soil and grass laid over the gravel, plus planters and peat blocks the kids could dig and climb on. Three others stuck with their normal gravel yards. The last three were daycares where the kids were already visiting real forests every day. After one month, the variety of bacteria living on the kids’ skin shot up, and the kind that helps train the skin’s immune defenses jumped the most. Their gut bacteria started to look like the gut bacteria of the forest-visiting kids. Their blood showed more of the immune cells whose job is to keep the body from freaking out at harmless stuff like pollen and peanuts, and overall inflammation dropped. The kids on the plain gravel yards showed none of this. Childhood asthma in the US doubled between 1980 and 1995. Food allergies in kids jumped 50 percent between 1997 and 2011, then jumped another 50 percent between 2007 and 2021. And peanut allergies in one-year-olds tripled between 2001 and 2017. The Finnish researchers think one of the reasons is simple: kids today don’t get dirty enough. 37 percent of American preschoolers now spend an hour or less outside on a normal weekday. Their immune systems are getting trained in environments stripped of the bacteria humans have always lived around. Aki Sinkkonen, who led the study, put it in plain words: “It would be best if children could play in puddles and everyone could dig organic soil.” The Finnish government is now helping pay for daycares across the country to make the same changes.

NOW: Commies in L.A. are MELTING DOWN because Spencer Pratt’s crew is power washing the filthy LA streets, spelling out “IMAGINE IF THE STREETS WERE THIS CLEAN” + “SPENCER PRATT FOR MAYOR” The mountains of trash and filth under Karen Bass have literally become the best campaign ad against her. This is savage and brilliant. Time to clean house in LA and vote for Spencer Pratt!

@KimballCall I always told my boys that no, it’s not a requirement to dress a certain way to bless the sacrament, but yes, they should WANT to dress a certain way because of the sacredness of what they are doing.

“We shouldn’t encourage deacons to wear suits, belts, or black socks when they pass the sacrament. What if we scare them away from wanting to pass?” This line of thought has one crucial flaw: it assumes children are fragile and can’t respond positively to high standards. It’s the same line of thought that is crushing my generation; the soft bigotry of low expectations. We can welcome any deacon regardless of what he wears to church, while at the same time trying to create a culture where they feel empowered to rise to higher expectations of dress and appearance, thus honoring themselves, their families, and the ordinance they are performing. Coddled Deacons become coddled Elders become coddled men.

2024. While defending Biden's cognitive decline, Stephen Colbert calls Trump a rapist. Immediately after that he told a vile joke about Trump's marriage. This was his show night after night for ten years and yet people are whining because Trump posted a meme of Colbert.
