An idea for the Irish government & others who regularly invoke their own subjective perspective of international law. How about urging at the UN the establishment of an international criminal court for Iran & the preparation of indictments against surviving members of the fanatical regime & its varied military & judges who have committed crimes against humanity in the oppression of the Iranian people over the last 47 years & for their prosecution? That’s an initiative worth pursuing. The Irish government could take the lead & no doubt would be widely supported by the campaigning NGO community. Serious foundations for such initiative could be laid in the lead in to Ireland assuming the Euro Presidency in July next.
