You can stay trapped in cycles of blame that destroy your community or you can become the example that lifts it up. You can keep waiting for someone else to fix your problems or you can roll up your sleeves and fix them yourself starting today. The Civil Rights movement was supposed to be about equality and freedom. Somewhere along the way, too many people traded that dream for a lifetime of grievance and government checks. It’s time to wake up. Your skin color is not your destiny. Your choices are. Reject the lie that America is irredeemably racist. Reject the hustle that tells you success is impossible without tearing others down. Reject the narrative that keeps you small, angry, and voting the same way every election, while your neighborhoods continue to crumble because of your vote. Instead, embrace the truth: America is still the greatest land of opportunity on Earth. WE aren't just great. WE are exceptionally great. Hard work, education, strong families, and personal accountability still win for every race, every background, every person willing to put in the effort. The future belongs to those who show up ready to win, not those waiting for the world to hand them something they refuse to earn. So here’s the epic choice in front of every Black American today: Keep playing the victim and stay exactly where you are...frustrated, broke, and blaming everyone else or decide today that you are a victor. Stand up. Take responsibility. Work harder than the next man. Build. Create. Lead. Succeed. The chains were removed decades ago. Now it’s up to you to stop wearing them. America is wide open. Did you know that prior to World War II the “Greatest Generation” were viewed as lazy, and entitled, and that they spent too much time at music clubs? Every time someone makes comments about the next generation in the military, I think about that. I mean, we have Cadets saving lives before they’ve even commissioned.
