The annual report for $XRO.AX is brain-damaging to read because there is an amortisation charge of $383m and share-based payments expense of $240m on GAAP profit of $167m. Hurts my head.

$XRO.AX : Thoughts? What are people thoughts Xero? I detest the software which I use for business and I find very clunky. Asking my accountant to change. I detest management who are extraordinarily overpaid like the CEO. I think the price needed to adjust but it has been savage. I can't see any evidence that it ever pays anybody a dividend. But even so it is up 10% today, the largest move by a large cap. What am I missing?

We are likely to see large write-downs & failures because of AI. This is no different from any other structural change. The real risk is a catastrophic failure. A big AI fuck up because it is left unchecked, something goes, very wrong, lives and money are lost at scale.

Using cash to buy back stock that was diluted means EBIITDA & FcF are overstated & valuation is distorted
