The Supreme Court has been hijacked by extremists. To rebalance this institution, we must expand it. In the meantime, I’ll keep fighting back against their damage—to make sure we still deliver student debt relief, to protect abortion rights, and to defend our freedoms.
Justice Alito accepted tens of thousands of dollars in lavish vacation gifts from a billionaire who lobbied to cancel the student loan forgiveness.
After the gifts, Alito voted to overturn. This SCOTUS’ corruption undercuts its own legitimacy by putting its rulings up for sale.
The hypocrisy is clear:
As justices accept lavish, six-figure gifts, they don’t dare to help Americans saddled with student loan debt, instead siding with the powerful, big-monied interests.
@GamecocksOnline I am ashamed of my University and especially the Athletic Department. As a taxpayer, alum, and Gamecock Club member, I will never support the Alumni Association or the Gamecock Club financially again. Don't like my opinion? IDAF
As we finish Pride Month, it’s important to remember to support, listen to and empower the LGBTQ+ community all year.

If SCOTUS was serious about their ludicrous “colorblindness” claims, they would have abolished legacy admissions, aka affirmative action for the privileged.
70% of Harvard’s legacy applicants are white. SCOTUS didn’t touch that - which would have impacted them and their patrons.
34 percent of Harvard students are white. 43 percent of those students are either legacies, children of faculty, kin of donors or a recruited athlete. 75 percent of them would not have gotten in if not for special status (National Bureau of Economic Research).
But when in doubt, blame the Black people!
Affirmative action was never a complete answer in the drive towards a more just society. But for generations of students who had been systematically excluded from most of America’s key institutions—it gave us the chance to show we more than deserved a seat at the table.
In the wake of the Supreme Court’s recent decision, it’s time to redouble our efforts.
.@POTUS: We created 13.4 million new jobs. More jobs in two years than any president has ever made in four. In two.
And folks, that’s no accident.
That’s Bidenomics in action.
Current NYC smoke levels pose a health risk for anyone outside.
During this historic emergency, we are asking the city to open all NYCEM cooling centers to offer purified air & PPE for vulnerable New Yorkers, seniors, and anyone who needs refuge from the heavily polluted air.
