@cybrtrkguy I use this stuff when we have suspected connections: a.co/d/0166jcxK

Here’s my latest Mobile Connector failure, the control pin does not communicate, but it still can lock/unlock itself..?
My last one had a ground fault two years ago. Now I’m using my Cybertruck’s connector, which is my third unit.
This Mobile Connector sits outside, 24/7/365, charging my Model Y on Level 1 power.

The Cybertruck Guy@cybrtrkguy
I’m on my 3rd Mobile Connector in 4 years. They’re not made for daily use.

@niccruzpatane Compare the labor costs along with the ancillary items needed when performing the services.

@thegabriel72 Ask Mr. Johnson about the island of Guam flipping over if they build to much on it 😂

@Oceanswave There are several procedures that cannot be skipped when performing this service. Ride height calibration routine gets done a couple of times in my shop before we proceed with the alignment. What is the current offset showing?

English

Bad news: the code it’s throwing indicates it needs an alignment. This is an auto-generated condition based on the vehicles’ heuristics.
Given the non-OEM wheels and tires Tesla can’t perform an alignment to see if that clears the code.
It’s ok to drive, according to the service center, just without AEB, Traction Control and Stability Control. And of course FSD.
So. WWYD. Manually Drive to Chattanooga Charge? or go home, throw the original wheels and tires on and book an appointment…
English

Bummer, I’ve aligned several CT’s in my shop and only one with upgraded tires/wheels. That one worked out fine but only after getting the tire config right and then performing ride height calibration a couple of times to get settled in properly. Then following the exact procedure. Can you pull up the alignment page and show the offset reading?
English

I've observed this too. However, the 1st time was when I had a laptop and bag sitting on the front seat with the seatbelt fastened. Later after returning home it locked as expected after removing contents. The other day, the vehicle remained unlocked and my wife messaged me that she received an alert about the status. I'm watching this but it may be induced through a recent update?
English

Tesla CyberTruck owners, has anyone noticed that sometimes your “walk away lock” doesn’t work? I’m running version 2026.2.9.1 and I’ve had push alerts saying my vehicle is unlocked about three or four times in the last week. I open the app and manually lock it. This hasn’t happened before I installed this version.

@BStarr119 Let me know if you’d like to pull the wiper angle and speed data from that drive. Just pm me. It might make a cool graph to supplement your video.

Nobody knows why certain Cybertrucks get ANC and others aren't
We're all on the same software lol

Finally showed up on my truck
English

@EricChance @rhensing Wow, thanks and I'm sorry to hear all this. I'm in the 35k VIN range. I haven't been able to use PS yet because I have power walls. The SW update should happen sometime this summer (I hope).
English

Sure. VIN is in the 16,000’s. Delivery June 2024. Tri-motor. First failure occurred sept 2025 at 35k miles. Second failure was Feb 2026 at 47k miles.
Last night we had a rare power outage. PowerShare failed to work properly. Was the first use since latest pcs install. It would error out and disconnect saying to reduce house load. It was pulling 0.5kwh. After 3 or 4 times of it restarting PowerShare backup and failing I just unplugged the truck. Disappointing.
English

@EricChance @rhensing Thanks, yes this is helpful, can you also provide the timing and your VIN range?
English

@TechScottBrown @rhensing First replacement was Revision -E if that helps
English

@EricChance @rhensing What was the PN of the 1st replacement?
English

@rhensing Hate this. I’m on my third PCS. Revision -G this time. Hopefully the issue is resolved.
English

@LamarMK Your PCS2 PN can be checked by anyone with a toolbox sub. I posted about this the other day. Here is my data before and after having mine replaced:

Cybertruck PCS failures are happening back to back. It happened to my first truck VIN 2K, and recently happened to my new Cybertruck VIN 12K.
I didn't say anything publicly at first because I didn't want to put Tesla in a bad light. But now I'm seeing someone post about a PCS failure almost daily, so I think it's best to say something about the issue.
To my knowledge, this is only happening to older trucks. Newer trucks should not need to worry about this.
Tesla has a new PCS revision ending in T2-G. If yours fails, double check with your service team that you're getting the latest version.
I hope this new revision finally resolves the problem.
The fun part? I got to drive a Cyberbeast while mine was being fixed, and that truck's performance is unmatched. It's incredibly fast.
My suggestion to Tesla: fix any truck that develops a PCS issue, whether in or out of warranty. At some point, the older PCS versions will fail.
Also, when your truck slows charging to 24A after a PCS failure is detected, it will only last a couple of days before completely failing. Schedule service as soon as you notice it, and Tesla will get you back up and running quickly. @elonmusk @wmorrill3 @cybertruck @Tesla @tesla_na

Active Noise Cancellation IS included in 2026.2.9.1 but is activated on the server-side.
It may be dependent on tires. Your truck knows what tires you have.
Check your truck, and report back which tires you have installed.

My vehicle was in for tonneau cover slat service back in Jan and since SI states that the cover needs removal for service I thought this would be a great time to swap in a new one. 1 month later the Same faults shown above surfaced. An appointment was made and a couple of weeks later repairs were made. PCS2, Device cluster and 2 harnesses. I learned that they are now R&Ring the PCS2 without tonneau removal. Just leave it closed and the tech lays on the service bench. I have one of these failed PCS2s that I am studying to learn more about how they operate.
