I’ve been using Codex since May 4th For the first time, I hit the limit on Codex One of the best decisions I have ever made was choosing Codex over Claude Code

Still no response from The @OpenAIDevs As someone who literally uses Codex more than 99% of people. Something has to be off? I trust yous. But clarity would be great.

@af_edwin @tsoofbaror @laurensnys Nope! Same usage style, maybe less in actually GPT 5.5 Medium.. Pro 5 hour session gone.

@tsoofbaror @laurensnys That means you're wasting tokens unnecessarily; you should use cheaper models.

Just me or are codex limits lower than 1-2 weeks ago? Going through them way faster it feels like.

@laurensnys Not just you. Pro plans are supposed to be on 2x usage limits until May 31st as well.

@Kahsoyas @thsottiaux Yes exactly the same and so have many others. Been like it for hours and not acknowledged but any OpenAI sources... :(

@thsottiaux Not sure what really happened, but on my 200$ plan, codex was out after just a day of usage for the week. It has the reset at the May 23rd tag, though, so it doesn't look like a rate limit reset error.

With 99.98% uptime, Codex only sleeps 8 minutes per month.

im on 20x pro plan, been for months. my usage was never reset yesterday, its down 40% and i barely used it yesterday? what is this. @OpenAIDevs @thsottiaux

So many times I mentally go "I don't have time for that" and then correct myself re-realizing I can just ask Codex to do it. And more often than not, it just does it.

Ugh @thsottiaux Codex limits are completely messed up again on the $200 plan. I've done nothing today and my 5h limit is half used and overnight weekly usage has gone from ~70% down to 36%. This is getting pretty ridiculous.

@chrismunns @MollySOShea Public-sector work can legitimise whole markets, but most smaller suppliers never get near that story. The practical first step is visibility: what is being bought, by whom, at what value, and by when.

I hope more folks who were around AWS in the earlier days like Teresa come out and share their stories. I was sitting in a different part of the business but with close friends in Public sector and they did *incredible* work around the world. Great interview @MollySOShea

@jcartlidgemp @BritishArmy Big defence procurement gets attention, but the same visibility problem exists lower down: smaller public contracts are there, just hard for ordinary suppliers to spot and assess. That translation layer matters.

@KathleenEdge Sorry this happened. Small firms take the hit immediately when a process breaks. It is a useful reminder that business support has to mean practical time/risk reduction, not just generic advice.

I sent a shipment to one of my retailers and the contents were stolen. Over 300 dollars stolen! Stealing from not just my small business, but another. Reprehensible!

@build_aus The same fear/hope mix shows up around UK small firms too. Finding new work is not the whole problem, but it is a real one. The public contracts exist; the hard bit is making them legible enough to assess quickly.
