As usual, Tesla is providing very poor communication on v14 Lite wide release. Nobody knows what is happening. The reason it’s delayed is because some UI issues have been identified. There could also be some hidden issues with heat and memory management. Also, I’m not aware of any Model X or Model S cars that have received it. If Tesla sends it wider to Model 3 and Y, the Model S and X folks will get upset. No matter what, people will be frustrated. I know a solution to this!!! Tesla can provide just a little bit of communication. Just a little bit of info would go a long way. Come on, Tesla, you can do it! @Tesla_AI @tesla_na @tesla @aelluswamy

Drive assist? That's Tesla's 2015 technology. No thank you. Here are your settings: Madmax Hurry Standard Chill Sloth Once you go FSD there's no going back. I can think many ways FSD is better -- I still drive both and I've been driving my 2015 Tesla for over 8 years now and the car with the FSD is bar none better. What happens in an emergency and you can't drive yourself? True story, my boss wasn't feeling well and he had his car drive him to the ER or he could have called 911 and get a bill later. I won't go back to a flip phone! 😁😉 Again, no thank you.

Hot Take: most people don’t actually want FSD, all people really want is a great highway drive assist. We just did 1000 miles in our EV9 yesterday using Kia’s HDA 2 for 95% of the interstate driving. It’s so nice to be able to control the exact speed I want to go, follow in a distance I want to follow, and be in the lane I want to be in without an arbitrary profile telling me what it wants to do.
