@NASAAdmin Please spend more money on the live feed.
A child tuning in had no idea there was a black man and a woman in the cockpit.
Stage separation? Flight statistics?
English

@NASAAdmin @POTUS I know money is tight, but spend more on the live feed please. The kids were barely interested (they are spoiled by SpaceX standards)

I hate to be the one guy complaining about the Artemis II launch, but I am watching @Erdayastronaut. Why can a private citizen provides a better view than the official @NASA feed? Could we please spend a little more on the cameras and video feed to keep my kids interested?

We've never published this entire video before, but... what the hell.
This is our vision for the shipyard of the future.
This is how we fight back against China's shipbuilding dominance.
This is how we produce 10x more in a single shipyard.
From raw steel in to a full set of panels out, ready for erection. All autonomous.
Every crane move, every assembly step, every weld... controlled by software we're building from the ground up.
Our roadmap will see us build every part of this as modular, inexpensive cells that stretch standard industrial robots to their payload & reach limits. Cells we can build in months instead of years.
We're starting in Austin, shipping out panel kits that accelerate the shipbuilding process for America's over-stretched and labor-starved shipyards.
Then we'll deploy systems like this all over the country to accelerate production of everything from tank barges to tankers to unmanned surface vessels.
It's possible to do this in America. I know because we're doing it. And because it must be done.
Time to Accelerate American Shipbuilding.

@nerdalert Elon's cried wolf for a long time, but this time I think there might actually be an FSD wolf.
English

Wow!!! I haven’t been this excited for an FSD release in a loooong time!
Elon Musk@elonmusk
FSD 14.3 is in Tesla employee beta now and will probably go to wide release end of week

@nicksortor ICE shows up to a city and traffic mysteriously disappears. ICE at airport security and suddenly there are no lines. 🧐

@BadgedPatriot Get a heat pump water heater. Doesn't have junk build up like the PTC heaters and the powered anode rod makes for a zero maintenance machine.

Neuralink is restoring speech to those who have lost the ability to speak
Neuralink@neuralink
ALS has gradually taken away Kenneth’s ability to speak. Through Neuralink’s VOICE clinical trial, he’s exploring how a brain-computer interface designed to translate thought to speech could help restore autonomy in his daily life. Watch to learn more:

@JoeTegtmeyer Please Hurry! The kids are no longer fit in the 7-seat Model Y.

@Neil_X10 @Tesla @elonmusk I was only half joking when I posted this. The Terafab announcement makes me slightly more bullish on $TSLA not because of the new moonshots, but because he simply doesn't have the cash for this level of moonshot without scaling the past promises.

Tydirium@TeslaUberRide
@elonmusk @elonmusk You can't play with your toys until you finish your chores. Robotaxi needs to scale or you will not have money for this factory.
English

$TSLA @Tesla & @elonmusk
Thoughts on the business after Terafab
Summary:
🔹 Weakening core execution and increasing dependence on future narratives with very high execution risk.
🔹 Management appears increasingly focused on adjacent moonshots rather than stabilizing the base business.
🔹 The current valuation is still being supported primarily by future optionality.
🔸 For me, that makes Tesla high-risk and not presently investable.
---
🔹 Core auto business continues weakening.
— Cybertruck sales disappointing.
— 3 & Y growth stalled.
— S & X discontinued.
— Factories underutilized.
— Semi / Roadster non-existent.
— Low cost model shelved.
— No consumer education.
— No brand protection.
🔹 FSD has improved a lot, but the commercial reality is still far narrower than what shareholders were led to believe. What exists today is progress. What does not yet exist is autonomy at the scale, speed, or economic significance long implied.
🔹 Energy is (sort of) booming, but the overall picture is still mixed when viewed against broader weakness elsewhere:
— 4680 progress is good but severely lagging.
— Solar roof basically dead.
— Solar business largely shelved.
— Virtual / distributed power plant progress a major disappointment vs. stated ambitions.
🔹 Optimus looks great, but it's not financially meaningful, and won't be for a long time.
And now we have Terafab, which looks like yet another long-duration promise layered onto a business already asking investors to underwrite substantial future execution.
While I respect Elon as a builder, the gap between valuation, promise, and realized execution is simply too wide for me.
There may still be massive upside here...
But at this point, Tesla increasingly looks like a high-variance bet on AI, robotics, and silicon optionality, while the core business continues weakening underneath it.
There are better places for my capital today...
English

@lookinshahp @DillonLoomis sounds very similar to battery companies not able to supply Tesla with enough batteries therefore 4680
English

@TeslaUberRide @DillonLoomis Chip industry can’t make enough chips to supply Tesla/SpaceX future demand. Elon is preempting a bottleneck since a fab can’t be spun up in a year or 2. Aim is to apply the Elon algorithm to a legacy industry to drive scale. This will become obvious & a no brainer in ~5 years
English

The timing of this comment is perfect. This guy calling me out for taking time to explain lithography and reticles so everyone can understand what Elon is talking about is classic
And the snide comment about silicon manufacturing being irrelevant...one day later we get an epic Terafab event 😂
But I'm bringing this up because it seems like a meaningful portion of the Tesla community isn't yet on board with this massive transition Tesla is in
Electrified started as research-heavy videos breaking down complex topics. This will always be a part of what I do when I feel it makes sense. It's impossible to cater perfectly to an audience of ~40k but my mission is simply to be valuable and to add context/understanding to the news, especially as Tesla transitions into industries that many people aren't nearly as familiar with as they are cars, batteries, energy storage etc.
I have extreme conviction in Tesla because I've gone down all of the rabbit holes of everything Tesla has a hand in. I plan to do the same as Tesla continually evolves not just for the channel, but for my own understanding. I will continue to share my summarized findings as I always have
As I've said before, the AI compute world is fascinating, and if you're not there yet, I'd encourage you to keep an open mind and start exploring. Because contrary to Dave's opinion here, it's critically relevant to Tesla's future $TSLA

English

@DillonLoomis "Under one roof" is good marketing and I am willing to let Elon cook. But this still gives me 4680 vibes.
English

@TeslaUberRide everything under one roof for recursive improvement
logic + mem + packaging in one roof
never been done

@WR4NYGov @wholemars I remember. I took the tax hit and cashed out the 529s to buy more below $120. I'm sure the kids won't mind much more money with no strings attached.

@wholemars We remember $108 and we didn’t sell
