During IShowSpeed's livestream in Algeria yesterday, a homeless man approached him by the roadside and reportedly tried to rob him at knifepoint. The man demanded that Speed instantly send him $350,000 via CashApp to a specific hashtag account. It was later confirmed that the suspect was a U.S. citizen who had become stranded in Algeria. Thankfully, Speed's bodyguard reacted quickly and stepped in to defuse the entire situation safely. The man was eventually arrested by the Algerian police.

This Zimbabwean came to South Africa only to snatch phones. He has been snatching phones for years. In 2023, he also snatched a phone in Hatfield. Recently it was Brooklyn, Pretoria where he snatched a phone. He currently stays in Maboneng.
