SpaceX is targeting a $1.75 trillion IPO — potentially the largest in history. While the world watches Iran, a quieter race is accelerating above it: the race to own low Earth orbit. SpaceX. Amazon Leo. China's GuoWang. $12.4 billion in space VC in 2025 alone. What this means for investors — and who wins the next infrastructure build of the decade: alphabriefing.com/the-1-5-trilli…

China's coercion of Taiwan isn't escalating — it's evolving. The People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) carried out fewer than 5 daily incursions into Taiwan's ADIZ on most days since March 11. Monthly incursions fell below 200 in January and February 2026, down from 300+ per month when President Lai took office in May 2024. This looks like de-escalation. It's not. The Eastern Theater Command PLAAF likely hit its maximum peacetime operational capacity. Rather than exhaust resources on daily sorties, Beijing is consolidating gains and shifting to a new strategy: preserving signaling value while enhancing joint combat operations. The question for investors and strategists: Does a coercion pause signal weakness — or calculation? Beijing's math suggests the latter. understandingwar.org/research/china…

SpaceX quietly crossed 10,000 Starlink satellites in orbit this month. Stop and think about what that means. We're not talking about a cable upgrade or a tech company feature. We're talking about orbital infrastructure — the backbone that every modern military, intelligence apparatus, and economic system depends on. Ten thousand satellites for global internet coverage. Unprecedented commercial density in Low Earth Orbit (LEO). And it's controlled by a single American company in a strategic relationship with the US government (DoD, Space Force, NRO). Compare that to what China can do: satellite megaconstellations launched at political scale, but fragmented across state entities. Russia's broke and can't sustain launch cadence. Europe is a generation behind. This isn't about Elon being a visionary—though he is. This is about what happens when the US has a private company doing what competitors can only do at state level. American advantage in LEO just became structural, not theoretical. When the next crisis hits—whether that's a Taiwan strait confrontation, Atlantic shipping warfare, or a Middle East escalation—the side with real-time orbital coverage and communications resilience wins. Save this post. Five years from now, you'll be thinking about this moment. spacex.com/launches

We want the war in the Middle East to end now. The world is tired of it. But any talk of destroying or defeating Israel will bring us into the war. On the side of Israel!

The AI supply-chain tightening just got teeth. DOJ charged a Chinese national and two US citizens with conspiring to smuggle AI chips and compute technology to Beijing. This isn't new friction — it's enforcement. Translation for markets: The US has now moved from *talking about* export controls to *prosecuting the smugglers*. Nvidia, Broadcom, and other US chipmakers see three things: 1. Explicit legal jeopardy if they sell into China (even indirectly). 2. Enforcement budget and political will from DOJ to go after grey-market routes. 3. A foreign policy priority that will outlast this administration. The market pricing hasn't caught up. Nvidia's China revenue guidance is still 18% of forward guidance — and still exposed to claw-back risk if compliance sweeps happen or supply chain routes get mapped. If the US is serious about tech decoupling, this is the first real teeth. And it changes the math for any chipmaker with material China exposure. justice.gov/opa/pr/chinese…

Markets are pricing peace talks. Brent down 1.24% today on ceasefire rumours. But here's what they're not pricing: Iran just said the Strait of Hormuz will not return to pre-war status. Ever. Not "until negotiations resume." Not "pending withdrawal." Never. Reduced capacity. Mandatory fees. Unpredictable transit restrictions. That's permanent infrastructure now. Goldman Sachs just raised its 2026 Brent forecast to $85/barrel — a $8 jump from pre-crisis assumptions. The geopolitical risk premium is built in. What isn't built in: what happens the moment ceasefire talks stall. Markets have one speed: either peace narratives or war narratives. The middle ground — managed scarcity — never gets priced until it's suddenly obvious. Watch Brent tomorrow. If it's above $104, the permanent-disruption thesis is winning. If it cracks below $100, the market's still betting on normalization. One of those will be wrong. And the bill lands on every fuel tank in America. 🛢️ reuters.com/business/energ…

Chinese National and Two U.S. Citizens Charged with Conspiring to Smuggle Artificial Intelligence Technology to China “The cutting-edge AI chips the defendants allegedly schemed to export to China represent the best of American ingenuity and years of strategic investment in maintaining our technological leadership,” said Assistant Attorney General John A. Eisenberg. “NSD is committed to protecting U.S. innovation and ensuring that those who violate U.S. export controls face serious consequences.” 🔗: justice.gov/opa/pr/chinese…

Space is not just symbolic. It is strategic. A sustained lunar surface presence ensures America, not China, leads the next era of exploration. That is why my bipartisan NASA Authorization Act, which the @SenateCommerce Committee approved this month, includes provisions that will support @NASA in this effort to make an American moon base a reality. I look forward to continuing to work with NASA to maintain American superiority in space. @NASAMoonBase
NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman@NASAAdmin

To build a sustained human presence on the Moon, we are building @NASAMoonBase, prioritizing surface operations and scalable infrastructure.  - Frequent robotic landings and mobility testing including MoonFall drones  - Starting in 2027 nearly monthly cadence of equipment and rovers with scientific payloads landing on the Moon.  - Investments in power, communications, and surface mobility  - Scalable infrastructure to support long-term human presence The objective is clear: build the foundation for an enduring lunar base and take the next step toward Mars.
