My 9 year old son says he has nothing to read. His reading age is 13. He has a dark and weird mind ( not sure who he takes after ) and hates happy ever after stories. He said he likes it when people die in stories! Recommendations, please, and feel free to pimp your own books

@NatalieKelda grew up in midlands and got north/east london parents and moved to Hertfordshire when I was a teen. Always used them and friends have too. Thought they were common all over England if not UK… 🤷🏻‍♀️

@hannahfearn Because they grew up with parents who had rations, or, if they are older parents (like my mum was) they were born under rations at first and that kind of old skool 50s food. Meat, boiled veg... My mum past that kind of food onto me. I’m veggie as a result. 😆
