Whilst it’s a given that The A Team has the best TV intro of all time, (closely followed by Knight Rider and The Fall Guy of course) spare a thought for Street Hawk. It only lasted 13 episodes but what an intro. It’s better than Airwolf!

I get why people think Sean Connery was the best Bond. Maybe he was the closest to the books? But Roger Moore made by FAR the best Bond films. There’s not a Connery Bond film that comes close to the enjoyment level of Live And Let Die or The Spy Who Loved Me.

@storyandplot Broke into the wrong god damn rec room

TREMORS remains one of my favorite creature features. The screenwriting doesn't try to do too much. It takes a simple premise of "Jaws on land" and executes it with joy and affection. It has legitimate tension, fantastic performances, and a terrific sense of humor. The reveal in this clip of just how many weapons they have in their "rec room" is a superb example. Just great storytelling. I was in college and a part-time manager of a movie theatre when this was released. We would have midnight showing the night before a film opened to test the print, and we had no idea what to expect with this one. It was such a wonderful surprise. I still kind of light up when it's mentioned. One of my favorite monster flicks as a kid was "THEM!", and this feels like it should fill that slot nicely for generations today. If you haven't seen TREMORS, make a point. I love this movie.

The treble/quadruple Arsenal talk started in January if not before That's setting an impossible bar that's been reached almost never in football history. If they win the Premier League, that IS a massive success. Reaching the CL quarter-finals, on the back of the semis last year, IS success. They are growing. Comparing them to the greatest sides in history and then criticise them every time they fall short, more than holding them to high standards, is IMO just a way to deny them credit for what they're actually achieving. Having said that, today is certainly a disappointment. Both statements are true.
