@FabianoSolana The yield curves are retarded. The max APY for lenders is 8% when everything is borrowed out which is too low for these dangerous conditions. The solution is as simple as changing the curves.

Did they see this coming?
Various lending markets on Kamino hit 90-100% borrowing rate
Means your lended money is stuck for now
On top Kamino saw a record outflow of over 7% ($150M)
AGAIN: This is pure fear as Kamino isn't exposed to Kelp DAO

fabiano.sol@FabianoSolana
The leading Solana defi protocols weren’t even exposed to the hacks and still they seeing bigger outflows since post drift How can people trust defi again?

@k5cryptojp Crypto decade was 2010-2020. AI decade is 2020-2030. Those that don't accept it will be left behind holding the bag.

In hindsight, it seems obvious someone was going to develop model specific hardware. But why did Nvda not do it yet? It seems impossible they did not think about it. Is it because it would be less profitable to them? 1/2

With a lot of posts about how quickly ai tools are advancing (and sometimes outperforming SRs) some of you will probably be scared about your income/future. To some degree this is a valid concern, but only if you are not willing to adapt. I had a bit time to think and write down what the best options for every auditor are imo, ranked by how hard you‘ll need to pivot:
Easy -> Become an AI augmented auditor. Use ai to improve your performance. The posted tools will probably become licenses at some point. Get the license and leverage it or learn to use cursor, perplexity, gpt efficiently now. And that doesn’t mean write „audit this“ into gpt. Learn how to prompt correctly and how context windows work.
Medium -> Build your own tool. There is a bunch of open source stuff available that you can build on top of. Will require you to acquire a new skillset but might give a decent advantage until tools are licensed. Negative of this is that you will be competing against companies with millions in funding and big teams. Still doable though.
High -> Go all in on auditing AI/Agents. Someone will need to audit all the new models and agents. Find where they fail and how their guardrails can be broken. This will probably the hottest thing in cybersecurity for the next years. This would require a hard pivot but will possibly be like entering web3sec in the golden times.

@FabianoSolana @xitadel_fi @RainFi_ To be clear, RainFi was not at fault here, just lender abusing the system.
English

@FabianoSolana @xitadel_fi Founders will dump on the users without them even noticing :) This is kinda what happened with @RainFi_ not too long ago. DYOR
English

@FabianoSolana @piggybank_fi The Risk/Reward ratio on this one is not worth it. There are too many components just for a few % APY on top of xStocks.

English

1. PiggyBank ( @piggybank_fi)
PiggyBank created the first infrastructure for "yield bearing stocks" aka stocks on steroids
They also have an APY over 20% for USDC!

@FabianoSolana @intodotspace Circuit breaker is absolutely retarded. It makes sense for stock markets because there are few reasons for a stock to go to 0 in a matter of minutes.
There are a lot of reasons for a prediction market to go to 0 or 100 in matter of minutes based on resolution related event.

English

@FabianoSolana @intodotspace Looks like an uber farmed protocol by third world. Almost nobody from solana eco following them while having 120k+ followers. So they are buying followers, that's a first red flag. The telegram is retarded and it's not possible to have a meaningful conversation there.

Awaken uses Mixpanel and was not notified of any data breaches...
Mixpanel is used by basically every tech company. For analytics specifically.
Man, it's like you cannot trust any of the software companies anymore.
Daniel Harrison@danielhq
Has @mixpanel not disclosed this breach? Sent from @CoinTracker.

@Pansyfaust Scammy law firms making the process as long as possible to get more money. Same as for all bankrupt company: mtgox, celsius, hodlnaut …

Feeling like these questions are becoming compliance for compliance sake, and not to actually help people recuperate funds lost.

Next set of intrusive questions from FTX PWC claims team has landed. This was shared with me by a friend who is in crypto for over a decade. How the fuck will you remember the hash of first FTX deposit? @sunil_trades if you want to share with your followers.
English

@armaniferrante @mandarin_canard @FatDiabeticCat @Backpack Oh okay. So it’s a basket of stable like FTX had? In this case I agree, no taxable event.
English

@TheCryptoBird @mandarin_canard @FatDiabeticCat @Backpack By that logic there’s still no tax. The basket on backpack is a crypto.
English

@armaniferrante @mandarin_canard @FatDiabeticCat @Backpack To be more specific this it how it works in France but I think multiple EU country have adopted the same logic.
English

@armaniferrante @mandarin_canard @FatDiabeticCat @Backpack In EU, as long as you have cryptos, you have no capital gains. For example:you buy bitcoin with 100 USDC. You sell back after 2x. Now you have 200 USDC => NO capital gain.If you change this 200 USDC to 200 USD,this is when the taxable event occurs and you have realized 100 USD gain
English

@armaniferrante @FatDiabeticCat @Backpack What do you mean? Converting stable to fiat generates a taxable event in EU, which most users don’t want.
English

@FatDiabeticCat @Backpack Depositing USDC into the exchange will auto convert into the USD basket
English

@watchking69 24 hours from now SOL might be at $70 and we will reflect back at this screenshot thinking how good we had it back then
