I always find it funny when employers list "company vehicle and fuel card" as a benefit when putting up job adverts.
It's not a benefit it's a necessity to do the job in my sort of industry just means you've little else to offer in my opinion

@ChargePointnet can I suggest if there is a power cut while a car is plugged into a paying station, when the power comes back up it starts charging again. I am away from my car and our office had a power failure so my car isn't charging because I can't remotely start the charger

Both will be taxed, and heavily. In fact I am distressed that taxes on ICE are so low, especially on fuels.

That's me out of an EV. Love mine but I'm not having being held over a barrel to drive a car I've paid tax on, pay tax to charge, pay road tax.
My PCP is up in 2028 so it'll be sent back.

@TheEvEngineer Did you see the fuel duty going up, or did you miss that bit at the bottom ?
Still going to be massively cheaper to run an EV for the vast majority of people
I'd rather pay 3p per mile in 'EV duty' than 60p per litre in fuel duty (+VAT)

@TheEvEngineer @port27500 They have added a CPI uplift each spring so it will increase by that each April (it’s baked in).

@RobWakes Range isn't good enough, I do a lot of miles a week so even getting 50 miles more makes a big difference.
Also I've a mate who has one and it's ok but a few annoying niggles so I'm glad it's the Buzz
