@WilliamShatner The answer to that would be for there to be chargers where you can park and charge so when you're done the car is charged. For someone in your position I'm quite surprised by this whole rant to be honest! I've long thought you'd be driving an EV of some sort.

And for the #teslarites who don’t understand 500 miles. Time is money. How long does it take to pump a tank of gas? 4-5 mins versus 30. Early last week I went up to the Yosemite area (about 300 miles.) I got up there, did my thing and got gas (5 mins) and drove back. With a Tesla. It would be drive up (maybe on one charge) charge up 20-30 mins, do my thing. Drive back, stop along the way to recharge (again probably another 20 mins…) That’s too long. 500 would be one recharge so it’s 10 mins gas versus 29-30 mins which I would consider.🤷🏼

Thoughts on this …. In Australia if you cycle 11kph over the speed limit you get a fine of $333 and no helmet $166…..

@Mr_McKeever @LUDENClassics He's not correct on the rollout plans. They are stepping away from Fleet and going to focus on public charge hubs primarily now. There's not much money to be made from Fleet charging for a big CPO

@LUDENClassics @modernheroestv It's nothing exciting tbh. Just for some reason it's took them way too long to get it resolved. Unfortunately everything requires 50 meetings and takes months . Also compounded by the majority affected being on forecourts and the complications of working on them.

Maybe he could try to do a better job for Londoners? Khan's "popularity" aside, the Met have plenty of other vehicles that aren't Range Rovers.

Sir Sadiq Khan is to ask the Met police to review its use of SUV vehicles, such as Range Rovers, that are currently used to provide protection for VIPs, including the mayor himself. Comes as TfL has re-booted its Vision Zero road safety plan that aims to end road deaths by 2041.
