If you’re surprised by how many shows @TRobinsonNewEra is appearing on for his US tour, I can fill you in, after spending a week with him in Israel… I’ve never seen a work rate like it. I think the mainstream want to imagine he’s some sunbathing layabout thug. The guy was up doing 3-4 interviews every day by 5am. Every day, he’d be organising new media appearances and saying yes even to small ones, booking them in for dawn to find the time, before spending the rest of the day traveling and speaking to military bosses. I got wound up with him one evening because we had to wait an hour hungry in the desert at dusk while he interviewed someone…I was livid - and asked the bus to leave the cunt in the desert so I could go eat 😅 - but I must admit the effort that went into even relatively unimportant videos he made was extraordinary. He has a remarkable ability to retain information, like a sponge sucking up info from every interview and now disseminating it to American viewers. And I say all this as a workaholic who has burned myself into the ground growing Heretics. Tommy is a different beast. Even at padel tennis, as he and I faced two machine-like men from the IDF, I stood morosely at the net as we lost 6-0, while Tommy chased every last ball, diving this way and that. Between points, he’d nudge me ‘mate we’ve got ‘em now’. But that’s him - he is drawn to the underdog. And he typifies a spirit that we must revive in the UK. Never say die. He’s also an absolute potato half the time.
