@ErikReed The devil is winning when he gets us to nit pick each other as Christians and create division. Cuz the bottom line is He loves every single one of us, and wants a relationship with all of us, yet we get caught pointing to something we don't like and creating division.

Furtick could stand up there and say “Flemawonga snarf blatt” and people would be like: “Mmmm” “Yeah, that’s right.” “Wow.” He’s what we called in the Army a “soup sandwich.” But the people who get lured into his teaching… 🤦🏼‍♂️

@BradGruber @thisisfoster Sure, different worlds and different experiences, but it’s a lie to think you have to downplay one experience of grief in order to validate another. Your miscarriage wasn’t any less tragic than the loss of an older child.

@thisisfoster Yeah, our miscarriage hurt but I wouldn’t begin to equate that hurt with losing a kid you spent years raising. Different worlds.

1/ All children equally bear the image of God from conception. That being said, the loss of a child by miscarriage is different from a stillbirth and a stillbirth is different from a child who died after being born, etc. I used to get upset when…

@thisisfoster It’s quite the assumption to imply that one mother’s grief is nothing compared to that of another. The experiences are all different and perhaps one mother has a face to grieve while another merely has an ultrasound, but both grieve the life of a lost child. Why compare?

2/ …when people implied that a stillbirth didn’t count as a kid dying. But there is a difference between a stillbirth and a 7 year old being hit and killed by a car. I think it’s mainly related to the realize potential of their lives. It intensifies the reality of the loss.

Worship leader, do you just want to sing in front of people? Or do you want to lead people to worship? Be careful about the object of your exaltation.

The Democratic majority in the House of Representatives has now voted to legalize the wanton destruction of human life in the womb. The Democratic Party is now the party of the Culture of Death, and the Speaker of the House is its prophet. What a sad day for America.

@albertmohler what a dramatic overstatement. Can you please try to do something to help bring the people of this country together instead of constantly trying to tear it apart?

An immodest woman may attract a man superficially and appeal to the flesh, but a godly woman will appeal to the heart because she will have likeness to the God his soul loves and craves.

@thisisfoster @AmericanAir I think the couple should have simply complied with the flight attendant's request to switch masks. I'd also prefer that a Christian Pastor/Elder give them that advice.

This is a thread about how an @americanair flight attendant kicked a married couple off just because she could… and I saw the whole thing go down. Here is exactly what happened (I’m still on the flight)…

If Christianity can’t be questioned it isn’t worth believing. More than that: not only can Christianity withstand our doubts and uncertainties, there’s a real sense in which bringing them to the table actually dignifies the claims of Christ. -@SamAllberry

@revdad27 @timkellernyc I may be missing some context so feel free to fill me in if so, but why would you assume he’s talking about abuse instead of the billion other sins we are all capable of (greed, anger, selfishness, pride, etc)?

No, all men do not cheat. Sorry excuse for men who have the mental fortitude of boys do. A real man knows and follows Jesus Christ as the greatest example of manhood. He understands the power, value and lasting legacy of being a life giver as a husband, father and brother.
