The truth about Americans and Europeans: Most Americans would love to see the ancient and beautiful buildings of Europe. They are impressed by Europe's history and recognize how it shaped America's own story. And they also acknowledge that Europe has some amazing food. Most Europeans would love to see the amazing national parks of America. When they do visit they are baffled and impressed by the size of our stores, homes, and country. And they also may gain a few pounds but they love America's food, too. When Americans and Europeans meet overseas ten out of ten times we tease each other about where we're from. And then we get along great most of the time after that. Don't fall for all this division between America and Europe. Sure there are cultural, language, and value differences. But overall if you were all just sitting in the same room together you'd have a great time. Online focuses us on our differences rather than what we enjoy about each other.

Why do Americans get so butthurt about the fact that, outside of natural beauty, America is a pretty uninteresting cultural experience. If you’ve seen one American city you basically have experienced all America has to offer.

Americans be like "me who walks from AC house to AC garage and then goes with AC car to work and do not even leave my AC car for food or coffee does not understand why Europeans don't like 100°F heat in May"

@JadeAtrophis The ship battle in the beginning of ROTS was bad because it was confused. There was no direction, no ability to tell sides, and no ability to tell who was winning, making it much worse than Return of the Jedi. The only blame on CGI rather than artistic composition was color.

Americans talking as if one could just just drill a hole through 2 ft thick walls

@ActuallyCrab Ooh that's another one, y'all (specifically brits) just cannot comprehend the concept of differing dialects and slang lmfao

You just won a 2-week, all-expenses-paid vacation. But there’s a catch: you have to stay within one region the whole time. What are you picking?

@mikesulsenti The average American never left the US while the average European has traveled the world.
