That sweet nexus between health, digital tech, and behavioural science!😎

@joshibza Thank you for your attention to this matter. However, the concerned patient has actually put the details in public domain so 🤷🏿♂️

People who are born deaf and grow up using sign language actually think in sign language. Not in words they hear in their head but in visual spatial concepts. They mentally see the shapes and movements of signs. But it goes deeper than that. Research shows that thought is not actually dependent on language the way most hearing people assume. A lot of thinking happens in images, feelings, spatial relationships and abstract concepts that exist before language gives them a name. The assumption that thinking requires words is actually a hearing person's assumption. Deaf communities have pushed back on this for decades. The more interesting question is whether any of us are really thinking in words at all, or whether language is just the tool we use to explain thoughts that already happened.

African countries copy Europe’s regulatory approach, then wonder why we get European results: stagnation, when not flat-out decline. Stop copying their mistakes. Copy what worked before they regulated themselves into increasing irrelevance.
