Fox Sports in Australia who are televising the Masters this year show last years final rounds. I just can’t watch the 96 year. I was there and it still rips my heart out watching the Shark lose to Faldo. Was an idol growing up. He was never the same after that.

My biggest issue with the talk of this great need to have all the best playing against each other more frequently, is most of this talk is solely from those wanting all those events to be in the USA at a convenient viewing time for them. If all the best playing together was truly the best thing for golf, it would be supported even if only two of the eight or ten events took place in the USA. Now, building on your foundation of global events, take these to national open all around the world and have the best players, competing in a series of national opens, sitting just beneath the US Open, Open Championship, Masters and PGA Championship. If that was reunification, it would get my vote.

Valspar announced a 5-year extension of its sponsorship deal with the PGA Tour at Innisbrook through 2030. … there have been some sponsors waiting out a Tour-PIF deal especially the non Signature events, not knowing what the future will look like. So this is a pretty significant outcome
