From the USA 🇺🇸 to Yorkshire UK 🇬🇧 Birdwatchers flocked to a residential cu-de-sac after an ultra-rare species was spotted in Yorkshire for the first time. The bird is believed to be a scarlet tanager, which arrived in Shelf, near Halifax, after being blown off course by strong winds from a hurricane in North America.

Kemi Badenoch should pledge to scrap inheritance tax - a burden that’s now one of the highest in the Western world. Canada and New Zealand have no such tax, and in Europe, it’s often far lower. IHT is an attack on Conservative values, punishing hard work & family legacy.

Inheritance tax feels like a penalty on families who’ve worked hard, hitting them just after a loss. It’s an unfair burden, especially for those passing on family businesses, farms, or homes. And if anyone thinks it only impacts the wealthy, they’re wrong—the middle class often bears the real brunt.

Labour’s inheritance tax raid is utterly immoral. This is a “death tax”, punishing careful savers. They’ve paid taxes on every penny earned and saved throughout their lives, only to be told, in the end, they can’t decide how to use what’s rightfully theirs.
