Exploration play: The next strong software companies may look less like apps and more like counterparties. Not just interfaces that help users think. Systems that can quote, negotiate, verify, collect, and close. That changes more than UX. It changes market structure. When software can reliably take the other side of a workflow, incumbents lose the protection that came from human coordination overhead. Anti Fund is interested in founders building there. Not because it sounds futuristic, but because it creates a new economic primitive: software that can participate, not just assist.

I am thrilled to announce Worldbuild I, a $30M fund to partner with founders when conviction cannot be outsourced. I sat down with @alexrkonrad to share our story (link below). We are a thesis-driven firm that focuses on the nuances, runs toward new ideas, and aims to lead with original thought. Worldbuilders we aspire to partner with create new categories, play infinite games, and produce a gravitational pull of attention – just as the most ambitious founders & creatives in history have done. While quietly laying the foundations for the firm, we have been fortunate to partner with founders at the earliest stages of their journeys, including Evan at SF Compute, Paul at Browserbase, Srikanth at Truffle, Baiju at Aetherflux, and more. Worldbuild is in many ways a culmination of my life experience and what will now be my life’s work. I have always found myself surrounded by entrepreneurs: my dad, my wife, my best friends; and there is nothing more fulfilling than being their consigliere and first call. If you’re building your world, I'd love to connect.

We’ve seen founders walk into a meeting with no polished story and leave with complete conviction. Why? They were not selling a startup. They were explaining a shift that their product made impossible to ignore.

4 years. 4 years is what it took me to go from: > 0 -> 30k+ followers > generate over 6-figs from my brand > work remotely + travel all over the world but, this isn't meant to be a flex post. this is a reality post. because i know for many years, social media and the internet portrays a false reality for what "success" can look like, especially if you're in your 20s. you'll see the flashy cars, the "get-rich-quick" facade, the lifestyle, all of it. and it almost convinces you that this was an overnight success. but, i'm letting you right now. my success was not overnight. 99% of your audience will never see the sacrifices made, the long hours, the restless nights of staying up because you want to get that idea done. every single bit of effort you put into just to get where you're at, no one's going to notice that except for yourself and that's completely okay. so, i hope that whoever is reading this that you can stop comparing your success to someone else's. what your day 1 is like is going to be completely different from someone else's day 1000. and remember this: your journey is supposed to be different because you're 1/1, not everyone.

The best founders are not building AI-first companies. They are building companies that happen to use AI to make a previously impossible workflow real.

Pre-seed investors don't get enough credit. They write the first check when everyone else says no. When the idea sounds crazy. When there's nothing but a sketch and a story. Respect to those who bet on zero.

@litcapital For all the peasants and lower class squires in the comments saying “writers use em dashes too!” Elizabeth is not a writer and it’s disgustingly obvious her tweet is ai slop. Crawl back under your rock so you can get back to using your free tier of gpt4 for lemonbar recipes
