After last night bombing bonanza by Iran - no commercial plane is able to land in Ben Gurion International Airport which is damaged.

Iran no longer behaves like a state with institutional responsibility, but rather acts in a manner closer to militias. If its attacks were directed at Israel, some might have justified or understood them, but instead it chose to target other Islamic countries that have no involvement in the war, even extending to attacking civilian facilities. Then it falsely claims to represent an Islamic state, while its actions clearly contradict that claim.

After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today. I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby. What happened in Beirut today was pure evil (and I usually refrain from using words with religious connotations). Western media won’t pick up on it, of course. Israeli leaflets basically explicitly threatened the Lebanese: if you don’t go down into the streets and mount an insurrection and disarm Hizbullah with your own hands, we shall inflict a genocide on you just like the one we inflicted on Gaza (in the flyer they called the genocide a “stunning success”).
