I’ll put my hands up and say that I was wrong in the way I covered Southampton, and I definitely needed to be more cautious in how I reported on events. Knowing what I know now, I would have approached the situation completely differently. Going forward, I will either blur faces of patriots or attend protests without filming at all.

This is possibly the saddest thing I've seen in a long time..an immigrant nurse talking about fleeing her home..she saved her UNIFORM. So she could still WORK for our communities. 44-year-old Daniel Frost from Southampton has been jailed for two years and four months for violent disorder and possession of an offensive weapon, a dog lead with a metal carabiner that he had turned into a makeshift knuckleduster. He has 25 previous convictions for 55 offences, including a six-year prison sentence for GBH and robbing an 80-year-old woman, as well as public order and burglary offences.

This has been a massive shock to our whole family, and right now, our only priority is being at his bedside and helping him recover.
