@mickmurray23 @therealfitz_82 @NRL To be a registered and approved supplier for the Qld AFL, suppliers pay 50k per year to be able to sell products, which the QAFL caps the price of. I'd assume it's way higher for the real AFL gear.

@therealfitz_82 @NRL The NRL licensing is obscene - the suppliers have to pay a huge amount to use the colours and logos, far more than the AFL charge which is why a guernsey is $50 cheaper (and yes even with sleeves).

@Thekingofmarks Happy to step you through it. I’m neutral on Rogan precisely because I’ve never listened to him. I simply have no opinion. He could be great. But if Spotify is no longer carrying two of my favourite artists, I’ll happily move elsewhere.

@Thekingofmarks I went to Spotify and made a playlist for each decade. I had heard of so many of these bands - Maiden, Priest, Exodus, Sepultura - but I didn’t know much of their stuff. And where do you start if you’re me? These playlists have been an education.

@MJCflipdascript Yep, Spotify lists are great. I also tend to find new bands by reading the comments on YT video clips! Of course you filter through the garbage comments, but generally people are cool on there

@MJCflipdascript Metallica and Pantera was the first Metal for me. Last couple of years I've gone for Deathcore more than Metal. But I love it all.

@Thekingofmarks Hard question to answer. I’ve been into metal only in fits and starts. First exposure was to Metallica’s black album when I was 12. Like most kids. From there I mostly liked Seattle bands but I had a soft spot for Helmet. In recent years I’ve liked Mastodon and Tool.
