More reports why Sony is trying to end physical discs: - They want to cut out the middle man, to make more profit per sale (like remove walmart cuts etc) - Sony thinks the fanbase will not switch platforms, they can do what they please without losing fans - They are convinced by ignoring this issue, they fans will just accept the changes and convert to 100% digital with time. - Sony thinks they are "too big to have commination with fans". Talking to fans has no margin benefit, so they refuse to address fans and will keep doing so I have lost all trust and goodwill with PlayStation, no words what is happening right now. Horrible company

@Zizu500 @NovaBran I totally agree with you. GKK are a shame, and many other Nintendo policies are also awful. Their customer service is basically non-existent so it’s definitely far away from perfect but not as bad as Sony for me.

Sony has overplayed their hand. I keep seeing people say it’s just too soon for all digital. But there is no context in which I would trust Sony to be consumer-friendly again at this point. They’ve made themselves very clear and they’ve lost their soul. This future isn’t inevitable, nor is it good for anyone, but them. I’ve been with you since the beginning, Sony. And you’ve lived long enough to become the villain. There are those gaslit enough to be defending this nonsense. As for me, you can forget it. You wouldn’t be anything without us.
