One awful design choice Forza made is why when I go to a race and pick a car I've never used can I not upgrade the car at the racing menu and then start the race? Instead you have to go all the way back to the garage, upgrade and then go back to the race it's dumb

@4k_isn I agree, Forza 6 looks and plays worse than most racing game 10+ years before. You can argue about reflections on some cars maybe, but artistically it is even more boring than "serious" games like gran turismo (which has its own style in ui still)

Listen, what I'm really trying to say here is that I don't think it's unreasonable to reject the gradual Fortnite-ification of every game franchise. Lots of "fun" racing games exist already as well. But, I'd also argue that both games could easily still coexist.

@Unit025 NFS was still a better game than Horizon. And Gran Turismo is Playstation only, so it isn't like they're even competing titles on other platforms. Forza Motorsport has its place and they axed it for no real reason but to capitalize on making NFS Lite instead.

Alright, I'm gonna say it. Forza Horizon is a racing franchise for people who don't like racing but think that they do. Shuttering Turn 10 and abandoning a beautiful racing sim like Motorsport for its cartoony cousin is just another symptom of the malignant nature of capitalism.
