NEW: 'Teacher of the Year' at an Alabama elementary school arrested after a horrific video of her allegedly beating her 12-year-old son with a belt was leaked by the boy's older brother. 2nd-grade teacher Nicole Staples has been charged & fired from her job. Staples's older son, Jackson, says he was the one who leaked the footage to Cottage Hill Christian Academy, where she worked. She was named Teacher of the Year just last May. "I didn’t feel like, you know, she should be working at the school or even doing that to my little brothers," said 24-year-old Jackson Staples. Jackson said his mom had "done it to me my whole life." Staples was charged with willful abuse of a child under 18. What a good brother Jackson is.

Confirmed and ready go. The lambo gm called the parents so they now know what the surprise is & are very happy and grateful, they said their son is going to LOVE it! Glad it will be a nice day & not a hail storm, that would have been bad. In 24 hours the cars will be rolling into our neighborhood. They are bringing swag & merch for the young entrepreneur. We are all so excited!

We have a seven year old entrepreneur in our neighborhood. He put out flyers and everything. He rolls your garbage can to the curb the night before trash pick up & rolls it back to your garage once it’s picked up. We of course signed up for this service & we pay him $5 a week. When we signed up he came to our house with his parents to introduce himself. We congratulated him on his new business! He told us he was saving money for a car. We asked him what kind of car and he said a Lamborghini!! 😂 So…. my husband reached out to our local Lamborghini dealer GM via email asking for a long shot that they might be able to bring a car by to surprise the little boy. The GM called us within six minutes. He said we’re not brining one car, we are bring many. This Saturday there will 10 to 15 Lamborghinis parading on our block and will stop at the little boy’s house for pictures & a ride. I cannot wait!!

39 years ago tonight, 12/19/85, I went to bed about 9 pm. An hour later than normal. I was 9. Dad wasn't home yet. Which was weird. Because it always took about 25-30 mins to drive home from San Marcos to Fallbrook after he called mom to say he was on his way.

@phillipoKneen My wife passed earlier this week aged 59 after spending 4 months in hospital. She went from fit and healthy, running her own business to being disabled and nearly blind within 2 years. I don't intend ever working again.

A friend died yesterday. Peter worked hard all his life so that he could retire at 55 to do all the things he’d planned but ‘never had time’. He would have been 55 in 6 months. Peter went to bed on Wednesday evening and never woke up. Don’t wait. Do it now. Do it today. 🙏
