I have to say I am very disappointed with some of the language coming out from the Social Democrats in relation to a left government and Sinn Fein . They are acting like the Labour Party they left . They should remember they are still a small 26 country party.

They need to win power in the 26 counties to push reunification.
They won't win power in the south unless they stop pretending to be the Social Democrats, (basically the north's Alliance party in politics), and appeal to the 25% of voters they lost from 2020 to 2024.
They need a proper leftist transformative economic programme to do this, as well as to stop being so woke and come out against FFFG's immigration policies.
The Ards Peninsula is probably more Irish than Dublin now, it's a real problem. It's only being done to supress working class wages as well

Interesting when you look at the data for voting patterns for Galway West and compare them to demographics data.
There is a correlation here. The areas of Galway that voted for Ogbu were places like Ballybran and Ballybit.
Thomas support came from overwhelmingly Irish areas.
