First they gutted the Voting Rights Act. Now they are using brazenly racist language to attack Black leaders. @JenKiggans should immediately apologize and resign.

This is precisely what's wrong with Democrats. Every lie and distortion is intended to distract from getting their hats handed to them and the Virginia Supreme Court's clear message: stop trying to rig our elections. The radio host should not have used that language and I do not -and did not - condone it. It was obvious to anyone listening that I was agreeing Hakeem Jefferies should stay out of Virginia. Democrats are trying to destroy Virginia’s court because they disagree with it. THAT is the real danger to our country.

Virginia Democrats have officially asked the United States Supreme Court to place an emergency stay on the Virginia Supreme Court’s ruling against the redistricting amendment

"Get your cotton-picking hands off of Virginia." "Yes to that." WOW. Jen Kiggans agrees with the host after he says Hakeem Jeffries has "cotton-picking" hands. #VA02

NYT: Rep. Suhas Subramanyam (D-VA) said in an interview that he supported doing whatever was necessary to preserve the map voters approved in last month’s referendum — including replacing the Virginia’s Supreme Court justices. Subramanyam: “We have Republican states ignoring their constitutions and interrupting early voting and ignoring their Supreme Courts all together. We know based on that, Republicans would explore every single option possible to move this forward.”

NEWS: According to the New York Times, some Democrats are proposing a plan to overturn the state’s Supreme Court ruling that invalidated the referendum: 1) Invoke the circuit court ruling that invalidated the referendum due to county officials not posting notice of it at courthouses 3 months before the election to invalidate the 2020 constitutional amendment that created the independent redistricting commission by arguing that the courthouses also did not post notice of it at the time either. 2) Lower the mandatory retirement age for justices from 75 to 54 (or less). That would remove every justice on the court. The Democratic majority in the legislature can then appoint 7 new justices. 3) Democrats would then be able to redraw the map. nytimes.com/2026/05/10/us/…
