LEAKED NEWS: I acquired the domain name os .ai for $150,000 (just saw the transaction reported on some online sources). It's the only two character domain name I own and one of the handful of .ai domains I've bought over the years. I have some ideas on what kind of startup/product would make sense for this, but I have no current plans to build anything (staying super busy with Agent.ai). The concept of an operating system for A.I. is compelling to me. I have a new agent on Agent.ai that I'm using to estimate the value of domain names. I think it overestimated the value on this one ($700k), but it got the key points/rationale pretty right. Also, the estimated value wasn't that far from the early asking price. If you have an ultra premium domain you want to get a valuation for, drop it in the comments and I'll run the new agent against it. (The new agent is slow, uses a lot of compute, and hasn't been fully tested yet, so I'm not ready to launch it to the public quite yet).

@afternic @TonyNames That's the best part for sure. However, receiving an email for "on hold" would be great too. In my personal experience, there is 60%+ chances of converting "on hold" domains into successful sale. I'm sure you've the right data to decide correctly.

Funny I got an email from Porkbun that Sedo requested hold on a name... And then another email an hour later saying that the hold is released.. is this like the hold name afternic lol? No sale though Almost got my hopes up lol First time this happened!!

I checked each domain and removed 370 from the marketplace. (which were expired/deleted long ago). Total domains: 4325 Expired/about to expire/drop: 325 4000 active domains, selling 10 to 15 monthly. What's the STR? 🤔

I’m currently traveling in New Zealand, and when I first arrived in Auckland, the country’s largest city, I noticed advertisements for AucklandNZ.com at the airport. Out of curiosity, the first thing I did was look up Auckland .com to see what it is used for. It turns out that Auckland .com is currently for sale. I believe Auckland’s tourism board should purchase this domain. For example, in New Zealand’s neighboring country, Australia, the largest city, Sydney, already owns its exact match .com domain, Sydney.com, which they use to promote their city brilliantly. Is anyone currently in New Zealand? Or has anyone visited before? I’m so excited to be starting a two-week adventure here!

Hmm, I tried his service once, and it took a while for him to actually start a campaign. He was able to successfully find an end-user for one of my names and I closed the deal under 10k. I didn't reengage his services because his price doubled. Seemed like he's addicted to OPM, other people's money. That's too bad.
