@coxie501 @JeremyClarkson @Ilkzz__ You literally don't need to. It has holes in it to let the grass through and water through the other way. But if you wanted to roll it up, go for it!

@TilbrookEstate @JeremyClarkson @Ilkzz__ What would be the cost and manpower for 1 acre? To take up everyday .Also relay next day.
English

@JeremyClarkson So when someone said Nicholas Farage should have acid thrown over him it was "just a joke" but when you say the same about MM it's the end of the world? The hypocrisy of the naysayers is beyond belief! But now South Park have weighed in....
English

@coxie501 @JeremyClarkson @Ilkzz__ You don't have to take it up everyday. You can leave it there but you can remove it if you have to or want to. It's the same proposition as an electrical extension lead. It's non permanent unlike cable in conduit that's buried in a trench
English

@PeteJMcGill @Solar_Quotes It depends on the size of your inverter. It could be maxed out already. We have two SMA inverters for our home which has panels on both North and West facing roofs.
English

@Solar_Quotes Q without notice:
I have 6.6 kw of panels (nth facing) and a 5kw inverter.
I see in the late afternoon the panels are producing 1-2kw while my west facing roof is in full sun.
Can I put 4-6 panels on the west and keep the same inverter?
My salesman says no. I don’t believe him

I've spent the last 14 years running the website SolarQuotes.com.au - providing independent, unbiased advice to homeowners interested in solar.
Drawing on that experience, I've put together the following guide of top mistakes I've seen people make when going solar:

@JeremyClarkson @Ilkzz__ What about rubber grass mats for carparking on grass? If the UK planning laws are anything like Australia's then the issue with gravel is that it is permanent. Mats are removable. Problem solved?

@SAPoliceNews @CFSAlerts @SA_MFS Thank you so much for getting it under control. We had some really worrying moments here in Lenswood

Heartfelt thanks to Athelstone residents who dropped off cold drinks to our police and emergency services crews who were sweltering at the scene of the #MontacuteFire
Your support was really appreciated by those on the ground ☺️ #MontacuteFire @CFSAlerts @SA_MFS

@jamiegoode @Wine_GB Fascinating figs as an English/Aussie. I am amazed by the technical prowess, state of the art equipment, vineyard management, wine quality, AND the cellar doors being built. There's a lot of confidence in the industry @Hambledonwine @came_peter @CorstonFields these figs show why

@sallymcmanus I am in England at the moment. Flew Malaysia. No problems getting here. Re QANTAS, BA are in a similar mess. Sacked 10,000 staff in the pandemic, now have staff shortages. UK Gov had similar Jobkeeper package but BA sacked them anyway. Who runs these companies???

@TilbrookEstate Hi @TilbrookEstate,
The UK will not scan in items to HM Passports office and put them through additional security measures, so you will not see arrival scans and they can take an extra few weeks before they have the application recorded in their systems.

@drhumki @deity_earth We were in Eastern England when it was 39 C. Mid 20's feels hot in the UK due to the humidity, so 39 is bloody hot! It's not the dry heat of Adelaide (and that's hot enough!) Plus houses have no air con, poor cross ventilation and are 2 storey, so upstairs is a heat trap
English

@deity_earth They do - heat has significant effects on health, and health in many ways, so it's not just deaths, it's worsening of chronic illnesses too. And more significant impacts on those with underlying conditions, the elderly, etc. That's why this level of heat is so concerning.
