When it comes to Minnesota, it’s one of the most premiere jobs in college hockey. I think literally anyone could be a candidate there. I’ll try to get some thoughts out on what they could do, but I think anyone that they would potentially target would be interested.

@SeanyBower @MikeMcMahonCHN I understand the ASU response. But...I have been to the (arena) multiple times - full & great student sections. Canadians travel to Arizona in the winter. Get prospects on campus and they are sold. I say this as a DU fan.

@Tim5280Hoops @MikeMcMahonCHN ASU 😂 Stick to hoops there Timmy. There’s several equally good jobs listed, not sure there’s one that’s truly better in all facets. Recruiting? None. Fan support, UND only. Revenue? Gophers led country in 2025. NIL has changed things, but hasn’t dropped them that far.

@SeanyBower @MikeMcMahonCHN Yes, Minnesota has the best recruiting pool but Canadian juniors and the spread of hockey programs around the country, kids have options. 20 years ago it was Minnesota but now, players options are aplenty.

@SeanyBower @MikeMcMahonCHN I would take these jobs over the U: Denver, North Dakota, ASU (huge upside - new Arena, recruiting), Boston College, Boston University, Michigan, Penn State. Maybe even Michigan State. You take a job based on where it could go, not where they are, IMO.
