Albanese just doesn't get business owners. More than 27k businesses have become insolvent in Australia since the Labor government took office; a record number. One of the top reasons, rising costs (inflation, interest rates, wages, energy) — higher input and financing costs squeezed margins and increased debt-servicing pressure. Many startups before these changes were planning to go overseas, this will just be another nail in the coffin. You can hardly blame them, why would you stay.
