I work with AI image generation on daily basis, and this is definitely AI generated, if you zoom in on the photo you can see all the telltale signs of AI. Distorted bodies, skewed and incongruent perspective and other inconsistencies you see with AI image generation. It's very hard to generate a good "fake" image unless you really know what you're doing.
