@drakesmith__ I always chunked doing slower swing speeds. Shortening backswing length helped me immensely

50-75-100 yard wedge drill. Grab a wedge that you can hit 100 yards at 80%. Start with hitting a 50-yard shot-then-75 and 100. What do you need to feel or experience to hit each yardage? Is it a speed, is it a backswing length....? Whatever it is write that down and use that as your thought on the course. I am a speed guy, for me I feel certain things in my arms and hands. If you have never worked on controlling your yardages with your wedges these 3 are a great place to start.

I’d be curious your take I ended last season an 11.8 and early this year climbed a bit with scores falling off. My game is massively improved after this offseason - my irons actually are taking the ball flight id expect, I have better control over driver, and a more consistent approach game. It’s translating to streaks during 18 holes. I’ll run 6 holes at a time +1 or +2. Yesterday I had 9 pars but ended with a 90… Played Tot Hill with three birdies but two triples and two doubles for an 86… My gut tells me it’s mental focus and staying present but curious your take. The good streaks aren’t like I’m having ridiculous luck. Just clean and boring golf. GIR and then two putt

If you are a 10 handicap or less here are 3 things I would spend time on before overhauling your swing to get better: -Strokes gained analysis and course management -Equipment -Strength/Mobility/Nutrition
