@haider1 Benchmarks measure performance, not a model's personality, and GPT-4.5 had something rare: a voice that felt like it had convictions rather than just trying to please.

some models perform way better in real use than benchmarks suggest for example, regardless of what benchmarks said about gpt-4.5, i still think it was a better writer than almost every model that came after it gpt-5.5 is good at writing too, but still not at the gpt-4.5 level

@steipete What's crazy is that Codex didn't just execute a task, it navigated a graphical interface, understood the context and solved the problem end to end like a senior dev would.

Codex was debugging a Telegram issue and needed a new token, so it used Peekaboo to open the Telegram Mac app, talked to botfather and just did it. Computer Use is amazing. peekaboo.sh

i rarely if ever truly prepare for anything anymore. at some point, your entire life either becomes the preparation or it doesn’t. & if the accumulated pattern of how i think, work, notice, respond, synthesize, improvise, & stay calm under pressure hasn’t prepared me for the thing in front of me, i doubt a few frantic days/hours beforehand are going to save me. i find it way more useful to just breathe & not think about it too much.

@naw103 @sherifgjini Yeah, it's live! It's "just" a quiz on the surface, but the database behind it is massive market patterns, failure and success signals cross-referenced. Most people are surprised by how accurate the results are for how few questions there are. Link in my bio.

Launching a SaaS and waiting for users is the worst strategy. Launch directories? 113-day waiting list. Cold email? Less than 0.1% conversion. Organic marketing? Complete silence. The truth: your first 10 paying users don't come from a channel. They come from a specific moment. Someone posts their frustration. Someone complains their content "sounds like ChatGPT." That moment is your entry signal. Don't pitch. Reply with real value, send a before/after, then ask if they want to go further. "Everyone posting on LinkedIn" is not a target. "The founder who posts 3x a week and hates that the AI shows" that's a target. The first 10 are manual. That's normal. That's necessary.

so many ideas, too little time to build: I spawn 3x codex instances, still gotta review every pr.. tedious even less time to distribute one: auto-distribution has to be next.
