Sudan doesn't have the capability to even start thinking about attacking Ethiopia.
The Eastleigh Voice@Eastleighvoice
Sudan has recalled its ambassador to Ethiopia, El-Zein Ibrahim Hussein, after accusing Addis Ababa of a series of drone attacks that hit its international airport here on Monday. Sudan's Foreign Minister Mohi El-Din Salem said in a statement on Tuesday that the ambassador would be recalled for consultations and that his country is "ready to enter into an open confrontation with Ethiopia." "The drones that attacked Sudanese facilities yesterday (Monday) were launched from Ethiopia's Bahir Dar Airport," he said. Read more: eastleighvoice.co.ke/sudan/344507/s…

@MizerTigrewayti Ethiopians were massacred by the TPLFthugs and Ethiopia was near to collapse by the TPLFthugs so those criminals don't deserve an apology at all but hanging in public. If they invade Ethiopia again, l can surely tell that they might even be extinct from the face of the earth.

@TravelToEritrea @gm_senay Senay is the only true patriot that Eritrea has ever had so pray for him to live longer so that he can make Eritrea a real country after the biological departure of the old monsterous dictators in Eritrea.

Dear Eritrean patriots: stay vigilant. This is @gm_senay who has been posing as Eritrean for too long. He is an Ethiopian fluent in Tigrinya and Amharic, spreading anti-Eritrean propaganda for the PP regime.

Reforestation in Eritrea:
Ecological Recovery as National Character
March 14, 2026
By Alula Frezghi
@RedSeaBeacon
Eritrea’s reforestation movement is not a seasonal gesture, a donor-funded publicity cycle, or a development photo opportunity. It is a long-term national reconstruction effort rooted in sovereignty, discipline, and the collective memory of a people who rebuilt their country from the ground up.
The greening of Eritrea is therefore more than an environmental initiative. It represents the restoration of land, dignity, and national continuity.
Across the country, communities, students, national service members, women’s associations, and local administrations are transforming degraded landscapes into living ecosystems. What is taking shape is not environmentalism as charity but environmental stewardship as an expression of nationhood.
From War-Scarred Landscapes to Ecological Renewal
Eritrea’s reforestation efforts must also be understood against the environmental devastation left behind by decades of war.
During the thirty-year armed struggle for independence, large areas of Eritrea’s lowlands and the Sahel mountain range endured relentless aerial bombardment by Ethiopian occupation forces. Military operations frequently targeted rural areas where the liberation movement operated, leaving vast stretches of land scarred and ecologically fragile.
Repeated bombing raids, including the use of incendiary weapons such as napalm, devastated delicate ecosystems. Vegetation was burned away, grazing lands were destroyed, and wildlife habitats were severely disrupted. Livestock herds, the backbone of rural livelihoods were decimated in many regions, while forests and natural vegetation that had sustained communities for generations were reduced to barren terrain.
At the height of the conflict, the Sahel mountains stood silent beneath a haze of smoke and dust. Hillsides once covered with acacia and native shrubs were blackened by fire, their soils exposed to wind and seasonal rains. Bomb craters punctured the slopes, and runoff carried loosened earth into the valleys below. What had once been productive grazing land and wildlife habitat appeared as a wounded landscape, stripped, exhausted, and waiting for the slow return of life.
The environmental consequences of this prolonged conflict were severe. Soil erosion intensified as vegetation cover disappeared, water catchments deteriorated, and biodiversity declined sharply. By the time Eritrea achieved independence in 1991, many parts of the countryside bore the ecological imprint of three decades of war.
Yet independence marked the beginning of a gradual ecological recovery. Through sustained reforestation campaigns, watershed rehabilitation, and community stewardship, landscapes once scarred by conflict have begun to regenerate. Hillsides that were once bare are slowly regaining vegetation, wildlife is returning to restored habitats, and degraded watersheds are once again capable of supporting agriculture and rural livelihoods.
The revival of Eritrea’s landscapes therefore represents more than environmental repair. It reflects the recovery of a nation that has transformed terrain once defined …ReadMore @RedSeaBeacon

This policy brief examines how the legacy of the 1991 London Declaration and Eritrea’s independence has left Ethiopia in a structurally vulnerable landlocked position, increasingly at odds with its economic and strategic ambitions.
It unpacks Addis Ababa’s shift toward “functional sovereignty” as a pragmatic effort to secure reliable Red Sea access, while noting that this approach has heightened regional anxieties over territorial integrity and power asymmetries.
The brief recommends that Ethiopia’s maritime aspirations will be most sustainable if pursued through cooperative and regionally embedded frameworks rather than unilateral strategies.

🔥 Ethiopia on the Brink of Collapse Again:
Tigray Threatens Its Unity and Sovereignty Amid Western Concern!!
It appears that Ethiopia’s influence, control, and national unity are in real danger, according to the latest developments in the Tigray region.
The European Union and the British Embassy expressed their deep concern today, calling for immediate de-escalation and warning against any actions that could jeopardize the Pretoria Cessation of Hostilities Agreement signed in November 2022.
The Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) recently announced the restoration of the region’s pre-war government and the reactivation of its suspended parliament. This move effectively ends the agreement from their side and accuses Addis Ababa of violating it.
This development puts Ethiopia’s unity at serious risk, as the return of the northern region to direct TPLF control directly challenges the federal government’s authority in Addis Ababa.
New clashes are likely to erupt at any moment in the disputed areas of western and southern Tigray. This could trigger a wider explosion of tensions with the Amhara region and Eritrea, leading to broad regional consequences.
Ethiopia is facing one of its most dangerous tests of national unity in years. Yet its ruling regime continues to thrive on crises and wars.
